I don't know Wise, that's why I asked you, bro!     there is an overwhelming public sentiment that Bama will roll va tech, but it is a guessing game to determine MOV.   Is it maybe a sharp play where they take advantage of volatility since more offshore books (mainstream) have recently opened to straddle their long position on Alabama when they got it early at like sub -17, then the lines opened to J Q Public, who proceeded to move the line up, then the sharps came in at say Va Tech +23 and thus pushed it down to the current level.    From my perspective, it has to be sharp or syndicate action pushing it down, this fast. 

Tell me if I am on the right track or am I off base here...

Wise - right on!  And the P Steele angle also explains the jump for UCLA.   I know P Steele PR's are useful for all of us, but I guess we must assume that there are chumps out there that use it as their soul source to cap.  Heck, even I mentioned the P Steele Bama v Va Tech implied rating to you last week.  

I will not make my wagers until maybe a week or two prior to kick to factor in key injuries weather forecasts, etc.  I think that is the prudent thing to do.  I am indeed down to 10 games that I am considering.   Well, that was down to 8, but I added USC to the list due to the N Chow firing of his OC.   I want to believe that Kiffin has at least an ounce of moxie in him, and that he would want to focus and beat the crap out of an otherwise bad Hawaii team at their house.  He has the talent to do it, and in a game like this, depth should not be an issue.   I just don't know if I can trust him.
