Anyone ever had a nervous breakdown?

Thanks for the encouraging words and support. I just have to keep my hope alive. If I lose that I will seriously die inside. I can already feel it happening to me. I am just completely losing all sense of who I am.

Leg, take up Revenge, Hawk and umgmu on their offers of help.  Very generious guys!  Your first step was coming on here and telling about your problems.  Don't take the next step and be too proud to accept anothers offers to help.  That would be a fool move.  Big kudos everyone on this thread for giving constructive advice to a sticky situation and especially to those who are going out of their way to offer help.  For every douche on this website I swear there are at least three solid soles.  Awesome to see!

I live in Biloxi if your in mobile or someone in southern alabama , we can meet up for lunch or something.  Im in a very similar situation as far as being depressed and pissed off all the time.

All you need is a new perspective.


But nobody can put this into your head, you need to take a step back, think about what you DO have going for you and try and put your problems in perspective next to some real problems.  Do you have cancer?  Are you addicted to heroin?  No.  You can be FINE.  You just need to motivate yourself, but you CAN'T DO THAT until you get a new perspective.



You sounded like you were getting close before, good first step.  Roll with it.



And honestly, try smoking a little weed.  You'll feel good, which will help you with finding that new perspective.



And let us know how you're doing, don't go ProtoStar on us.  Feel better legwand.

You're not dying inside --- you're depressed.  Happens to people, and people get over it.  And when you do feel better, you'll feel A LOT better... and you might not be such a prick towards other people with problems, because you'll be able to empathize with them and tell them that they'll feel better.

Mine has everything to do with my wife.... some of it i don't want to get into but i my mom took me to my general doc to get put on antidepressants(im only 27). I have two kids so i don't want to leave my house but ive gotten so bad that 3 weeks ago i completely tore my bedroom door off the wall.  I really don't know what to do but sit around and be pissed all the time.

don't no if it's all gambling related but thats what it sounds like to me , and i quote myself once saying to my wife " Gambling has never been the problem winning is "  2 months later she left me 4 months later i won a 37 thousand dollar parlay through the ontario government (pro-picks) needless to say she came back and i was dumb and i took her back, but i did have 2 girls to think off.

Put some headphones on and go walking...walk 6 miles per day, especially if you can find someone to walk/talk with...

Find a local "celebrate recovery" (normally at non-denomination Christian churches)...You wont even have to talk, but you will hear enough F'd up stories to put your trials in perspective 1-2 times per week. 

Otherwise, sell everything you own, buy a cheap motorcycle or greyhound bus ticket and start over...If that will bring your sanity back, get it done, and if it doesn't help try steps 1 and 2, they really work wonders, especially if you can find others who are going through the same or worse.

The debt that you are in is really nothing but numbers, mistakes, or unforeseen circumstances....your debt is not you though....do your best to pay it off but remember that it won't take your life or liberty unless you let it have power over your mind...

Leggy me and you got into it in the Shooting the dirt thread.....Good stuff..., you never did take me up on my offer of a bottle of your choice. I cannot believe  that more people in this thread have not seconded my idea of YOGA. Bro its fucking awesome stress reliever as well as workout.

MOVE!!!!!  Do whatever it takes too move. It sounds like you really, really, really hate where you live. A fresh start somewhere else could be the ticket. It's worth a shot. I don't think you can get better living where you live.

Agreed but getting him up and on his feet and functioning with a healthier mindset takes priority here I think..... moving comes later. Odd as it may seem, falling into a deep ravine takes just as much work as does climbing out of it.
