I know this is probably viewed as pandering but is there a high number of Black police men and women in Chicago or is it majority White/Hispanic? and would the Black people in that area respond differently to Black cops as opposed to non? I&#x27;m just playing devils advocate to see if we could end this culture of Blacks hating the police somehow,some way.

Too much history and personal experiences of cops being predjudice.

Problem is that not all cops are that way. The other problem is that some are. Just like some are great at their job and some aren't.

The reality is there is s human element that dominates perception. My thinking is that I am not a cop there or a person that lives there so to make black and white statements (easy there race obsessed posters, it's just s metaphor) is a reductionist view that only further entrenches both sides.

I appreciate your Devils advocate idea because it could bring change and growth. . But it's easier for African Americans to blame the police and it's easier for outsiderswho don't love it to comment on either as the problem than it would be to focus on improving and growing personally. It's just he times we live in. So much news, fake news, talking heads. Social media, we are bombarded by information and distractions away from taking responsibility for one's self and less absorbed in scapegoating and making excuses that cops or African Americans are the real problem in the lives of people today

Seriously, if the black lives matter organization could focus for just a minute the number of PD shooting blacks vs the number of black gangs shooting other rival black gang members in our largest cities is comparing a bushwel of apples to an orchard.
