John Elway redefined the position of QB in the NFL. He's still the only QB to be in the top 10 of both career passing and rushing yards. One of only 2 QBs to start 5 Super Bowls. He was also a 2nd round pick of the NY Yankees coming out of Stanford. If he had committed to baseball, he would have been a top 10 overall pick that year. An amazing combination of athleticism and intelligence.

Since when did athletes have to receive a concussion to be considered an athlete? With your statement, I guess we can exclude all basketball and baseball players alike as athletes.
