Ok, i am going to be as nice as i can here. I have seen a little door opening believe it or not.
So in this post you said "We don't hate god or the idea of god" then in the very next paragraph you said "we hate the christian's description of god".
You are confused, i dont think you know what is going on TBH.
Then you go and say "He is described as having qualities that logically a god should not have"
For starters these are 2 very very different arguments.....
By describing a characteristic of God, you have admitted he exists. You cannot use a characteristic of God as evidence that he doesnt exist. It is contradictory, because you have no basis or standard to compare how Gods should act.
Lets assume for one moment that as you described, God kills people and he is jelous. Does this prove God doesnt exists? As i said above, you ave described a characterisitc of God, you cant say that is proof that he doesnt exist......
Now, by describing characterics of God, you have admitted he exists, but hate his charatceristics.....
I will let you take over from here.......Let me ask you this, .What would a good God look like? ie, what characteristics should God have for you to love him?
