I believe that they existed during the Old Testament time period, as is discussed in Genesis, Job and Exodus.
With obviously, the dinosaurs being destroyed by the flood. (I admire your attempts to answer these questions, but I really don't know what to say to this. Do you genuinely believe that scientists, who generally agree that dinosaurs existed tens of millions of years ago, could be THIS far off in their dating techniques? I find that to be legitimately "unbelievable.")
4) Why, if Christianity such a peaceful religion (and if we are all "God's children," does the Bible condone killing (a) homosexuals, (b) non-virgins, (c) for hitting one's parents, among other things?
One is not God's child, until he/she is born again and becomes his son/daughter, so everyone is NOT God's child.
Biblical interpretation must follow certain guidelines and principles in order for it to be properly understood.
Must keep the verses in Context. (Why would an omniscient god need to write in a "context," especially when this same god preaches a peaceful way of life in the next iteration of his testament?)
We must remember the Bible was written to the original audience of the people at that time. So, certain controversial subjects and issues that pertained to their time period was addressed in the Bible at that time.
Each passage has only one correct interpretation, but obviously can have many applications that apply to someone or something in many various ways.
There are many other ways to understand how to correctly read and interpret the Bible, that I will not address right now.
I am answering your question by stating the above because I do not think that you are correctly interpreting what the Bible says or else you would not be asking this question. (But you said that we must take the Bible literally... not only that, but when I read those passages I don't see any room for interpretation... it states clearly that people need to be put to death for these actions, so where is that decree is there room for misinterpretation?)
5) Why do we have a "spiritual void" if we don't believe in Christianity? Since a huge majority of the world ISN'T Christian, are they spiritually blind as well? Are only Christians correct? This refers to question two as well.
Yes, a Authentic Christian would say there will be a void/blind without Christ in one's life. But, I think that that void can be filled in other Spiritual ways that are outside of Christianity, but that person according to what Christ teaches is in error. (I think this is a fair answer.)
I believe that one can find truth in many other ways in life outside of Christianity (Agreed), but ultimately Christ stated that he IS the truth. So all truth in this world, must be filtered through Christ first, in order to see if it really is a truth. So no, Christians are not the only ones that are correct.
But when it comes to salvation, yes Christians believe that we are right. But, we base this standing on what Christ said and teaches.
This isn't a Christian being arrogant or a bigot (as they are called or said to be). It is simply a Christian standing on Christ's words.
