i think being around gay people or hearing about gay people makes only two types of people uncomfortable: people with repressed homosexual urges and people with the kind of irrational, warped thought processes that normally come from religious intolerance.

ClubDirt, as has been mentioned a time or two before on these pages, is remarkably attractive, particularly to the gayer persuasion.  ClubDirt has learned to embrace the affections of person to the extent that he has incorporated the predilections of person into his regular weekly exploits of the finer women in atlanta.

that advanced strategy is part of ClubDirt's seminar: Hooking Up With Hot Chicks 2.0 and is only available to those people who have successfully completed ClubDirt's Introduction to Hooking up with Hot Chicks with proof of the appropriate certificate of completion.

I'm fairly certain that Tideman really wants to sleep with another dude, even if he won't quite admit it...even to himself.  If you really were straight, you wouldn't feel "threatened" by gay marraige.

Its OK.  Its 2010.  Most of the world doesn't care anymore.  Embrace it. You'll be a much happier person.

So by me saying I dont approve  of gay relationships, that makes you think I want to  sleep with a dude? lol, Congrats on being a the most delusional member on Covers. I am definitely not a homophobe, I just dont condone it, and personally find it discusting. You and the rest of the gay population along with Vanzack can go fly your rainbow flags from atop the highest mountain, while getting ass raped by a herd of billy goats, and I promise you it wont bother me. For you to be so upset, and to take what someone says about homosexuals personaly, that in itself proves you are a flamer. I am sure if you had as many pricks sticking out of you, as you've had sticking in you, you would look like a porcupine. Go spew your garbage somewhere else with your aids ifested ass.

I could have used this course 20 years ago.

Going through it now would be as wasteful as tits on a nun.

"I am definitely not a homophobe" followed by a rant of homophobia.

Are you also not a racist because you "have lots of black friends"?

"I am definitely not a homophobe" followed by a rant of homophobia.

Are you also not a racist because you "have lots of black friends"?

    What a dope.

my roomate and i had met a couple of girls who were pretty hot but also knew it and were very annoying.  standard operating procedure always called for inviting the girls over around 9:00 to our place or a friend's place to start drinking, then go to the bar or club around 11:00 for more partying and then close the deal some time around 2:00.

we didn't think we'd be able to make it through a schedule like that with these chicks, particularly the first 2 more sober hours.  once you get to the club where it's loud and dark and other people are around, you can wing it with an annoying chick.

as we were walking back to our apartment with these chicks for the 9:00 stretch of the competition, our gay neighbors were outside.  they invited us over to hang out before we went out.  for the next 2-3 hours, these person were bullshitting with these chicks about shoes, shopping, and whatever else while my friend and i just killed drinks.

it was perfect.  the chicks are happy talking about nonsense, the person are happy to entertain guests, my friend and i are getting wasted.  and the best part is that my roommate and i were getting full credit hours to be applied towards the graduation that is nailing these chicks later that night.

from then on, we would always engage our gay friends when we had chicks coming over.  it got to the point where they would feed us, always have drinks, and were all too happy to occupy these chicks for as long as was needed, or at least until we were fucked up enough to take over.

you know what they say, discrimination is bad for everyone because it isn't the best and most efficient use of resources.  for all you rednecks, homophobes and bigots, forget what your bible study teacher has told you and start cozying up to the person.  you might make a connection with a nice looking chick who isn't your cousin or sister.

I dont understand the problem with getting hit on by a gay person anyway.  They are just another category of people you might not be attracted to, like fat people, skinny people, blondes or brunettes, or big boobs or small boobs.

If you get hit on by a gay guy, and you arent attracted to him, just tell them or act exactly the way you would if it was a woman you werent attracted to.

I find the comments "gay guys are fine, as long as they dont hit on me..." funny - who cares?  Why does anyone care so much?  Why does it ruin your day?

once again - I know you werent saying this yourself - I hijacked your comment to make a point....

Very solid point.  I've worked with quite a few gay individuals and they aren't embarassed about it.....why should anyone else be.  "Sorry, but I'm straight" is all that need be said.  And you don't need to say it like, "sorry, I'm normal" either.  Gay people refer to straight people as "straight"....just like they are referred to as "gay."

I think the homophobes believe they are going to gang up on them and shove a cock in their mouth.

    Club-

You also make a good point.  My business partner thinks being gay is a straight ticket to hell.  He thinks it's a choice (THE most moronic statement ever made).

Gay people dont choose to be gay? So they forced to be that way?

Someone tells them "Hey if you're not gay you're going to jail the rest of your life" .Is that the way it goes?

Why is it ok for a man to like a man and people not think its a choice but pedifiles and people that incest "choose" to be that way?  A man wasnt made to be with a man just like a 60 year old isnt made to be with a 5 year old

"For you to be so upset, and to take what someone says about homosexuals personaly, that in itself proves you are a flamer."

Actually, I'm straight, but what does that matter.  If I was gay, I'd be gay.  I don't see anything wrong with it.  Its all a matter of personal taste.  Its like me saying I like pizza better than ice cream.  If I wanted ice cream, I'd order ice cream.  If somebody went on and on about how ice cream was immoral and they couldn't believe anybody would want ice cream, I'd think they secretly wanted ice cream. Whatever.  There is no point in arguing it.

I actually have gay friends. My best friend came out and shocked the hell out of me.  I wish he did it before he got married and had kids but his father was a minister and I guess that he just wasn't being true to himself.

For the guy that is arguing that gay people choose to be gay....just a very simple question.

Did you choose to be straight?

I mean this very argument is what makes me think that most homophobes are secretly closeted gays.  Its like they are saying "I'm more attracted to men but I choose to be straight and fuck women instead.  You can too."  I suppose in a way homosexuality is a choice but thats a stupid comparison.

I was born straight.   If I somehow lived in a society that told me it was immoral to fuck women and I had to fuck men, I'm pretty sure that I'd fuck women anyway.

If you are straight and you think that its a choice, think about how you would react if somebody said you needed to make that choice.

Oh and comparing it to pedophilia.....give me a break.  There is a clear victim in that situation.  A child isn't smart enough to make his own decisions yet.  A 5 year old can't agree to be with a 60 year old.  Between consenting adults, there is no victim.  It might be somewhat "unnatural" for a 60 year old to be with a 25 year old, but if the 25 year old agrees...what do I care?

    RE Club Dirt:

Here is a great secret for you guys.  Straight women love gay parties and gay clubs. I remember in college, some friends of mine said they were going to the LGBA (lesbian gay bisexual alliance) party.  I was like "I'm straight why would I want to go there".  They were like "don't worry, its an everyone invited party.  There will be tons of straight women there"   I was skeptical but I went anyway.  Damn glad that I did.

Heres who was there.  Gay men.  Lesbians.  Straight women.  Us.  There were at least 5 or 6 straight women for every straight man there.  To make it even better, the host always sets the tone for the party.  If your host feels like having a wine and cheese subdued party, most of your guests will behave likewise.  If the hosts are dressed in leather and chains and the lesbians are taking their bras off in public.....well its going to be that kind of party.

A couple of men hit on me.  I said I was flattered but straight.  When they saw I wasn't threatened by them, they sent over their single hot female friends (every gay man has tons of attractive female friends...one of the great ironies of life).  I had a great time and ended up hooking up that night.

I went to a bunch more LGBA parties and they all rocked.  I remember telling this story to other people and they all looked at me like I was insane. Its counter intuitive but true.  If you want to hang out with hot women, be gay friendly.  If you want to hang out with nothing but a bunch of dudes, be homophobic.

    Just one question to ask.

Would tideman still feel this way should one day, say his father, close friend, or a close male relative of his comes out and declares himself to be gay?

Even the incredibly staunch conservative Dick Cheney is for gay rights knowing his own daughter happens to be a conservative. Food for thoughts.

     Bible thumpers

Its their incredibly naive views like this that is making them ever more a minority in today's society. It is also another reason why I stopped going to church many years ago.

So let me see if I have this correct...

You people are saying that homosexuals are born homosexuals?

Are babies crackheads at birth? are babies alcoholics at birth?

Are babies programmed to start robbing, stealing, and killing as soon as they come out of their mothers womb?

I will answer it for you.... Fuck No!   They are not born programmed for any of those things. They at some point in their life make a CHOICE to do those things, just like homosexuals decide one day that he thinks he wants to suck a dick, and then shove it up his ass.

Take the electrical cord to your lamp and hold the plug in your left hand, Take the electrical cord to your toaster and hold the plug in your right hand... now plug those up by pressing them together, go ahead I will wait....... yeah, you can stop now, it won't work that way, You need to take those plugs, with the 2 prongs, and stick it in the electrical outlet on your wall.

Just like boys and girls, different hardware, but made to go together.

You dont see anything wrong with being gay? really?   How about all of you rump rangers, butt burglers, and peter puffers spreading the Aids virus around at an alarming rate.

As far as religion goes that you keep referring to,  Yes I am a Christian, and I am proud of it.

    Again homophobe? NO

Phobia is a fear of something

I am not afraid of spiders, I just don't particularly like them or want them around, so I make it a point to stomp its guts out whenever one gets in my way.

I am more convinced than ever - YOU LOVE COCK.

Someone that goes this far out of their way to deny they love cock, really loves cock.

Just tell someone you love about this.  It will be easier than you think.  Find a partner and experiment.

talking from experience arent you princess?  I know you are trying to recruit me, wanting new fresh meat to satisfy your hunger for cock, but the answer is still going to be NO, and please stop begging, it really makes you look even more feminine, if thats possible.

Wow, Tide I mean its one thing to not support gay people or to not approve, but to claim that they CHOOSE to be gay is really an ignorant comment.

    LOL, are you serious?

You know the term 'in the closest'?  It's a result of people's fears about their sexuality being ripped into and made fun of by the rest of society.  WHO would choose to be negatively stereotyped, given less rights, etc?  Does that sound like fun to you?

I can't believe in this day and age that people are still making this barbaric argument.

I'm taking you've never met a gay person?  I've known plenty, and the ones I've known from a young age were clearly homosexual in their toddler/adolescent years.

I don't understand how you can see people born with extra toes/fingers, missing limbs, down syndrome, adjoining twins, kids with no eyes (I could go on forever) but you can't fathom a person being attracted to someone of the same sex

If anything I believe that a childs surroundings plays into what they become, how they act in the future. For instance a child in my opinion who grows up in a household with an alcoholic is more likely to develop into one themselves.

A child who grows up in an abusive home is more likely to become abusive

A child who grows up in a single family home (mother) and doesnt have a male influence in their life has greater chance of growing up to be a pansy. I know that for a fact because of coaching kids in sports through several years, I promise you I could line up the team, and you, never seeing them before would be able to pick them out.

A child in todays society, growing up in a home with 2 moms, or 2 dads has no fuckin chance whatsoever. It's obvious from just the flakes in here, that homosexuality is viewed as the norm, and totally accepted.

In those cases I can agree with you that a child doesnt really make a choice, but rather it was just normal.

Yes, how a child grows up can affect personal traits, but not their sexual preferance.

My one buddy is the gayest man on the planet (National ballet dancer/cross dresses on occassion/etc).

He comes from a very religious home(Christian) and I know his brother better than him and his family very well.  He came from an extremely good home and grew up just down the street from me.

When he was 7 years old I knew he was homosexual.  His parents do not approve of his lifesyle nor does his bro...but they love him and know that's what he truly desires.

You should talk with someone who is gay....and actually listen to them.  You'd probably learn alot....

It's not a choice for 99% of homosexual people (yes there are some posers out there....just like people who pose as straight ala any Republican Senator.

My GF's brother is also gay, although not nearly as flamboyant.

    Wonderful family, all still together.

And he is very timid, hasn't told his own mother yet.  Because he's afraid she will be upset.
