Race 1 - Best bets are 237810 ....but I would not stop there.......#5 could really surprise...was 4/10 faster than #4 first time stepping onto the track so I like this horse and owners/trainer have a good history with trotters and Luc Roy is good on trots....damn good
-#2 did an amazing last 2 miles in tougher company
-#3 was hanging with the best trotters in Gold series most of the summer and almost stole a couple of races going way in front on the lead...this horse just needs softer field and this is it except for #8 and #10 has also been in golds
-#7 almost won race last week at long odds...it was my long odd pick since trainer kicked himself off to take Trevor who raises his own trotters and knows how to steer the young ones to improve their times
TAKE 7 horses!
Race 2 - #1 for sure....posted two 151 miles before it was sick...now got vitamins and cocktail from vet so will be back to normal
-#4 raced in tougher company last race and last time in NW under 20K ...he finished 2nd to a horse that has since won in 1'50 flat!....and this angle WORKS....horses who last raced within 5 days usually shave 1-2 seconds on their times next race but trainers can't do this too often because it can injury the horse if it does it too often...not enough recovery in a couple of times in 2 months
-#6 is 2nd week on lasix and now gets to leave in the middle...has to go in!
- #7 > Moreau is the king of Mohawk once the weather cools as he trains his horses to work hard in cooler weather to get fit and breathe hard which gets them even fitter come race day
TAKE 4 horses ...this PICK5 may be expensive but the payout possibilities are good and I sense a great opportunity here tonight
