Wow something rallied the DOW from down 100+ back to positive briefly but I have no idea what it was.  My whole screen was/is still red

So many people out there trying to time and call a bottom-----which is why......
 
number 1, it won't happen
and
number 2, you get nothing but vicious spikes up and down wiping out all stops (oldest market maker's trick in the book-----wipe out the little guy).
 
Now, I know you think I'm some wacko who is loving all this negativity and selling, but I am not.
 
The deal is this------no one on the planet knows how low this thing is going to go-------no one.  But when it finally does turn (and that could be Dow 7500, 6500, 5500, 4500, 3500, 2500, 1500, 500, or zero-----as well as 5 minutes or 5 decades from now) you will see a short covering rally and real buying of absolutely cataclysmic proportions-----it'll be so powerful that it will be done in 2-3 days-----like a nuclear bomb was dropped on shorts.
 
Best thing to do is sit back and wait with as much cash as you have------and then go "all in" with SPY.

GM and F moving pretty strong.

Part of me doesnt want them to get bailed out..they dont deserve it.

Damn.... I had an order in to buy F for 1.10 when it was trading at 1.13 and I missed huge gains.

GD right they don't deserve a bailout package------just like the bankers, insurance companies, global economy, etc.....didn't deserve a bailout package.

WSC, you know economics better than I do, so therefore you know that in a "free market capitalist economy" failures and crashes are part of the process and are to be not only expected but also accepted.

That GD bald headed fascist did a hell of a lot more bad for "Joe The Plumber" by ramming that gd bailout package for his f--ing cronies at GS right down our throats.

GD right this economic world deserves to crash and burn.

The difference between the financials and the automakers is that the function the financials serve holds greater importance to the majority of the population and the world.

The automakers are inefficient stupid companies who cannot compete and have really never competed since the 80s.

No crash and burn from me, I dont want the economy to go under, I enjoy having a house and a car and being able to go to the store to purchase food etc.

I dont need a F/GM/CH car, but I need to be able to function day to day which the financial firms make possible.

I laugh at the person who said that the foreign automakers would sabotage the industry if the other inefficient companies went out of business..geez how paranoid.

Short term bandaid (bailout packages) for hellacious long term pain (inflation, taxes).
 
But it's all a plan of the new world order, so it's going to happen------an engineered economic collapse to pave the way for Big Brother.  No sense in arguing about it anymore, even though bailout packages ARE NOT part of "free market catitalism."
 
I hate Big Auto as much as I hate Big Oil-----those farking iceholes have been in bed with each other for over 30 years doing things to each other that would make Jenna Jameson say, "Gd, and I thought I had problems."

These levels will be profit in a couple of years but the problem is there is no telling how much lower it will go tomorrow or next week or next month and investors are tired of getting in front of this and getting burned every time.  The bottom is likely to be lower.

Gonna hit 500 down here.

And yeah the gambler in me would take a contract 50% out of the money for 1 month. They are pumping the beta into that contract..when that beta gets removed that contract will deflate.

I bought in at F at 1.25. Why the hell not. I don't agree with a bailout but I think it will happen. My DRYS and UYG are pretty much worthless.
