I agree with you promark but alot of IDIOTS like to impress others by acting like they have more money than they really have!! Some just like to run their mouths or IMPRESS in other ways but the key word is"IMPRESS" others!!

I hate Vegas, what a sh-hole. Service attitudes on the strip blow. They know they can be rude because 10 seconds later someone else will be standing there.
We stopped in Bellagio last year where I picked up an $80 round of drinks. My 79 yo old mom asked for a bowl of pretzels or something to snack on, the waitress said no because only 7 out of 8 ordered a drink! Every time I have to go I hate it more.
For Nevada I suggest a nice property in Reno like the Peppermill or Atlantis. That or South Lake Tahoe.

This is tricky. The waitress should have used better judgment and just smiled, go to the back, and grab a pack of saltine guy or whatever the house had to offer. You, as the consumer are responsible to make purchases for yourself. If mom was hungry, order a soup or something. Its ridiculous how you were treated, but at the same time, its your responsibility. Personally, I would have probably lowered my tip average to around 10% for the waitresses "hospitality."
