"And how do you explode your wagers on a $3 table (usually $300 max)? This story and the thread itself getting more and more like fantasy fiction with every new post."
KeyElement...
The table I was playing on in The Cal Hotel changes from $3 to $5 depending on time of day... I usually call it the $3 table cause it is the only $3 table that I know of anywhere and I always play on it cause it has a 6 shoe deck and can lower my bets to two $5 hands if need be... I was in a reckless mood then being down all my money and was betting pretty big compared to the other players on the table being it was a $3 ($5???) table... Why would I lie about any of this just to impress people I don't even know or make it sound more interesting... LOL... I even told of stories of me taking it up the butt from the casinos... Just trying to share my experiences with others and enjoy hearing/reading others successes/failures in Vegas... LOL

"Anyone else see how this doesn't add up? Down to last $100, run up to $1000, all in on 2 hands but still pull $500 out of thin air to double down? "
DJNY...
$100 to $1000 was over a couple of hours on the table... Built the chip stack up slowly... Not impossible at all, even on a $3/$5 table... I had to catch a plane soon so I went all-in $500 playing two hands, in the same deal... First hand was BJ, dealer pays $750 on the spot... My Bankroll is at $1250 and I use that money to double up on the second hand... which won... Bankroll now at $2750... Not lying at all... One of the craziest betting/winning moments Ive had til this day... Then I just kept on winning til I had to leave to catch my flight.... I think this was the trip that really got me hooked to Vegas... Crazy

I don't think I told this one yet...
Was sitting on the $3 table at The Cal... I hear a bunch of people screaming like they hit the lottery... look over to where the noise was coming from and see a bunch of people crowded around the roulette table... A girl had put a stack of like maybe 30+ chips on one number (didn't see which number) and her friend tailed her for like maybe 10+ chips... Their number hit and they got paid out... Then, they left the initial chips and added more... LOL.. Must have had close to 80+ chips on the number and the dealer had to cut the stack in half cause it was too high and looked like it was about to tip over... Guess what.... Number came right back... Not lying... They cashed out and left with a butt load of $100 chips... Crazy

I've got alot... Mainly because the drunker I get, money management goes out the door... lol
Starting with how I lost my whole roll within just 4 hours of getting off the plane... 22 years old and only my 2nd time to Vegas... My cousin and I Flew into Vegas for 7 days. As soon as we landed, he jumped on another plane to Cali to meet up with a girl, and then drive down the next day with his brother. So basically I was alone for the night in Vegas. My plan was to play a little craps, get drunk and pass out early to wake up and meet up with my cousins.
My bankroll for the trip was $4000, so I cashed in $1000 at the craps table at Mainstreet. Within 1 hour and about 6 beers deep, I had lost almost all my chips. I ended up cashing in another $1000 thinking I could get it all back... Nope, wrong. Within half an hour, I lost all of my second buy in. Frustrated and wanting to get revenge, I cashed in the rest of my money... $2000. My chips went up and down, up and down. But about an hour and a half later, I lost everything. Ended up going all in on a roller who ends up crapping out after 3 or 4 rolls...
Now drunk off my behind and broke as hell, I called my cousin and told him I lost everything. He actually thought I was BSing and won, but could tell in my voice that I lost. Called my girl back home and told her to wire me the rest of my savings, $5000. Western Union took a huge chunk of my $5000 to do a money transfer. At the end of my trip I ended up winning some back and went home down $3000 for the entire trip.
Lessons learned... Do not chase your losses, instead walk away when the table is COLD... Do not use Western Union if you need money, instead try to get a marker from the casino as long as you know you can pay them back... Drinking and gambling do not mix, especially if you are DRUNK... <<< This one I have a hard time following because the beer just taste so damn good... lol
I got a lot more... What you guys got???
