Unfortunately, I forgot this was an early start so this alert was posted after the game was well underway...

lost on the juice Wednesday going 2 - 1 .... but one of the wins was by only one run, so had we bet all 3 on the runline, a large 1 - 2 loss for the day!
Tuesday was even worse, 0 - 2 for big losses!
Monday was 1 - 0
Yankees and Mariners are HHF today....
Recommend caution (including RL) because HHF are a BIG loser on the season
HHF lost bigly Thursday with a 1 - 1 split, but.. the YANKEES loss was at -235 (closing ML) and while my MARINERS moneyline lean did win, it was only by a single run, so those of you who play HHF thinking the RL is a safer bet, would have lost!
Dodgers and Giants are the HHF today. CAUTION!

Discounting his first ever game in the majors on May 11 (ie, we should dismiss rookie jitters), the top draft pick, in his last 13 starts has only allowed 16 earned runs!!!
He averages 6.0ip per game but has only given up more than 2 BB twice! (3 each)
awesome .094 WHIP and an excellent 1.99 ERA!
...and he's actually better ON THE ROAD than home, with NO "BAD" outings on the road and Pirates went 5 - 1
He's on the road tonight
ER in his 5 road games? 0 2 0 1 0 1
By my count he has faced 5 teams that are pretty good vs righties; he only faced truly weak bats v. righties, twice; the others were mediocre teams
BUT . . .

SKENES (Pirates)
is arguably the best starter in MLB this season!

Make no mistake, this dude and others I will identify in the future are GOOD starters - some of them exceptional! HOWEVER, probability says "consecutive streaks won't last long"...All GOOD pitchers will have an "off" day and get roughed up - sometimes mauled - before they resume their stellar pitching performances again. It happens to the best of them. Just CAN NOT be avoided.
When??? We can't know that for certain but my stats over many years indicate the time to start to worry is when they reach SEVEN (7) consecutive outings without a BAD one in that bunch (at any point in the season) Sure some HOT streaks may continue for 2 or 3 more performances. It happens! But for me, I don't need the stress that his bubble may burst that day! There's other games to look at. I can simply skip those "STREAKER" dudes until *AFTER* their inevitable BAD outing, then resume looking at his starts after that!

HEAVY HOME FAVS (HHF) on Friday won both, although the GIANTS won by only a single run so RL backers would have lost juice on the split. HHF to be cautious about Saturday:Both ends of a NYY double-header and Giants
Betting the 3 HHF yesterday would have netted a miniscule profit from a 2 - 1 day.
On tap Sunday: Giants and Dodgers.

Sunday, another LOSING day for betting on the heavy home favs.
Giants tanked at -180 (closing) while NYY won, but only by one run,
so those who bet RL thinking it would be safer, lost even more!

Worse would be betting on the Heavy ROAD Favs, as has been the case all season!
as Padres -198 and Braves -174 both fail.

After the Heavy Favs lost yesterday, both home and away, Monday sees at least 2 more: Padres and DBacks
Needless the YANKEES now at over -300 should be avoided as well

TWINKIES might join the HHF list (-170+) if their line gets pushed a little higher.
