bodio ive been following you since beginning of 2011 in nba and cbb and you made me a lot of money. more than ive ever made in sports betting and youre still positive for the mlb season which is better than 99% of sports bettor on this forum.
but ive noticed you play a lot of heavy favorites and to lay -140 you need to hit 66% to profit however i dont think thats the case. ive noticed you lose a lot of your -140 games or higher and most of those wagers are what some people would call "square plays" and both stl and milk plays today had reverse odd movement as heavy public plays. you cap nhl based on odd movement and it works. shouldnt the same concept work for mlb? dont take this as bashing im sure youve changed your capping techniques over the years as u learn from certain scenarios...i dont know just my two cents but what do i know...if i knew better id cap my own games

haha...don't even get me started on that! IMO MLB teams do NOT need hitting coaches. You're not going to improve your ability to hit as a player once you reach the majors. At that point, you're as good as your'e going to get. Hitting coaches are only there to throw balls in batting-practice and to get rookies acclimated to the major league. In terms of improving someone's batting-average -- it's way too late for that and hitting coaches are incorrectly used as scapegoats, when in reality the general manager should be the one to get blamed for acquiring a bunch of hitters that can't hit for shit!
Batters need hitting coaches and Phil Mickelson needs a swing coach. They help athletes dialed in and stay mechanically sound. I agree that too much emphasis is put on a swing coach if a team is slumping. Firing a hitting coach like the Marlins mid season, because your team is in a slump, is the DUMBEST thing ever!!
Anyway, about your streak discussion. I personally like to use streaks to help me fade teams as opposed to back them. Many of the games I play are a process of elimination. I go through the card eliminating games until there are a few left I like. There are certain rules I follow to keep me out of trouble and very profitable. For example right now, I don't bet Overs in Padres, Astros, Mariners, LAD, Philly.. games, I don't bet against top 5 pitchers like Verlander, CC, Doc, etc.. (especially at home), I don't bet against the yanks at home or red sox at home, I don't bet the under in either of those two teams or AZ/ Colorado Unders at home etc.... My Do Not Play or Fade list is added to or subtracted from every week. Marlins, Tribe, and Mariners I added this Monday. So streaks are important to me at least when eliminating teams from my card.
Pitt, Stl, and Toronto-Over was my card today. Thank you for the Cards play . I appreciate your hard work. After I do all my research, I always look at your plays b4 I submit my card. If you have a play that is not on my elimination list I hammer it hard. You are great at what you do and very humble.

i agree with most of what you say...but i must correct your on your percentage, -140 doesnt require a 66% break even point..-140 is 58%..which is a pretty big difference, but still 58% is pretty damn high!

I've brought up this point last week and i was told that playing favorites(average -150) 80% like bodio is not the way to win money betting baseball bodio responded by saying he hits around 70% therefore he will make money
I DON"T THINK SO.................

You're a fucking retard. Can you read? He's hit 57% of his plays and the season is 2.5 months old. How the fuck has he been on a bad streak for "months"? Stop tailing and cap your own games if you're gunna bitch and say stupid shit. Better yet, go kill yourself.

I for one, haven't really made any money in baseball with Bodio. I find losing with those higher vigs makes that winning % much much higher.
Basketball was much better.
