MLB Picks for Sunday August 30th

Julespussy, … you, obviously read only parts of what I post, and formulated an opinion on that limited information, so I will enlighten you.  All of my plays are based on my own set lines, and then calculated to a percentage chance of success, then compared to the bookmakers line, and once more calculated into a breakeven percentage on that line.  The difference between the two percentages gives me the size of, or lack thereof, Value on that play.  If you noticed (not sure you have by the question you asked) I play varying amounts based on that Value, BUT ….BUT I operate every season of every sport I play on the premise and paradigm that I need to win 75%+ of the weeks I play, and my winning weeks must be a dead minimum of 300% of the amount of losing weeks.  If you notice a losing week, it is usually very small.  Operating on a weekly basis in comparison to a daily, or worse yet a game by game basis, it take ‘tilt’ completely out of the equation and makes operating from a logical position almost a guarantee (I say ALMOST because I am learning recently that I have over estimated the intellectual capacity of the average gambler; quite possibly the stupidest people on the planet.   Did they become stupid because of gambling, or does gambling just attract a lot of stupid people?  I could write a thesis on this subject).  As the week goes on, depending on how much I am up, I will ‘loosen up’ quite a bit to take chances on hitting the book hard with their money.  You may not agree, and maybe you do, but I make money virtually every week, and when  I don’t, the book does not get very much back.
