I find it so funny and ironic that you use the term "Brain Trust" and then misspell "Conclusion" in the same sentence. Or, is a "Conclussion" what you're going to suffer after "fake" banging your head against a wall in agony after losing your "fake" wager? Get it? Con-clussion!!!!! (HA!! Nice one, Gimme!!!!!)

No, but seriously, has your "accountant and other brain trust" helped you pick a bridge or a building to jump off of if the Royals win the series and you lose their money? Since you'll be in Vegas, might I suggest the MGM Grand?

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2167149/Woman-jumps-35-stories-death-Las-Vegas-MGM-Grand-police-arrive-arrest-200-000-con.html

Seems to be popular among criminals who bilk "investors" out of their money.....

    Good Luck!!

GTFO hater. This guy is going to get rich and paid, while the Royals are going to get crushed and choke.

    Glad you're not hedging.

I've been following this thread since it was posted. I cannot fathom why people are still spewing negativity about a sagacious, courageous wager which has proven to be auspicious—and on the verge of coming to fruition. Mets will win this and the world is yours!

These envious and atavistic haters have nothing logical to fall back upon—so they revert to pervasive ad hominem insults and genetic fallacies based upon [in]conspicuous typos (on a gambling forum: where the vast majority of posters are half-illiterate monoglots and Australopithecines illuminated with meritorious wounded egos and idiopathic anger).

Plus, there's no edit history or method for revision; so innocuous typos are inevitable; unless you're inclined to waste your efforts editing posted picks and analyses for grammar and nomenclature—which would be as asinine as having a favorite team or being biased based on geography and/or life-long monotony of rooting for the same team. People come here for the picks—not layered prose.

Mr Divorce don't listen to the haters, I believe that a certain Vegas casino gave you all 500K at the same counter price of 8-1 back in August..

Also if your buddies fall through I got a few million and will do it for 2.5%, ya know, just as a backup you ya.

Awesome choice, the thread is more exciting this way. All or nothing, balls to the wall.

I'm taking KC in the series -110 for a dime cause I'm such a MUSH. This alone seals your win (I really do suck MLB 2nd half of the season), so just because of that no need to hedge.

    Let's Go Mets!

Also 100% serious, I am a Mets fan and this is our year. I already laid $1,100 on KC this morning because I want more than anything for a Mets win. I am totally jinxing the Royals and for me it's worth it to lose my bet. If KC somehow pulls it out I'll be devastated.

Thanks for all the well wishes about to head to hakasan at the mgm and drop a few grand. Hedging has no longer crossed my mind within the last few days as I am aware that I will beat the book and am the best capper that has ever posted on these forums. I pick winners all the time and have been winning at a great rate for a while now. No need to waste money when i know the mets are going to win.

I ran very well in the late 90's to the point where I could give it up, run away and ride into the sunset...but no, i flew to close to the sun. I lost my home, my kids, and dignity, which led me to have to build from the ground up.

I still bet significant sums on certain games during certain times of the season, but this one's gunna be my godzilla. I live a fairy comfortable life but am not where i would like to be at the moment.

I have managed to workout a remortgage on my property which i finally paid off a few months back. This time i have ice in my veins and blood in my eyes and i am swinging for the fences.

The value of the remortgage is slightly over 500k which i have dumped on the NY Mets at a 9/1. The bet was placed via wire transfer at a certain vegas bookmaker.

Now lets sweat this into retirement

Damn there are a lot of haters in thread thread.

People are just jealous.  I know I am.  I wish I had the balls to do what you did.  I'm too embarrassed to even post what my unit value is. I've never even wagered four figures.

I can't imagine the rush from having EVERYTHING on the line.  Must be incredible.

    Don't hedge.  Let it ride!

Fake or not. The trolls and backers of this guy makes it very entertaining. More so than the actual results of the World Series.

Love these fictitious bet stories!  Westgate, or any Las Vegas casino, taking a 500k future bet with 4.5 million in exposure, plus doing it via wire transfer?  Yeah, ok.  Enjoy the fake sweat in the World Series!

He GD, even though I got KC in the series TO JINX MY METS I went small on KC last night as re enforcement. But that and some luck for the Royals did not help.

Betting KC again tonight - even bigger. I am the biggest MUSH in baseball (after the all start break)

I really thought we had it once Familia came in for that last out in the 8th and going into the 9th. Mets were -$1000 on live betting at that point.

My folks here at the sports bar in Medellín are all rooting in the METS (because no one wants to watch River tonight in the Copa) .
Tonight's the night! Let's Go Mets!!!!

Why not take over 7 or 7.5, ya know, what the line is instead of making up a line?
