This matchup falls into a system to play against a team like Manhattan when the line is between +3 and -1 and that team is coming winning between 20-40% of their games and coming off a win over a conference rival facing a team with a winning record. This system is 55-25 ATS over the last five seasons. Niagara is 18-6 ATS the last 24 when playing on the road against a team that has won between 20-40% of their games after the 15 game point in the season. This should be an easy opportunity for the Purple Eagles who average 74.2 PPG to improve that number because the Jaspers average only 59.1 PPG and have major issues with rebounding and turnovers. Niagraa has already handed Manhattan a loss this season and there is no reason to believe we won’t see a similar outcome in today’s matchup. The Purple Eagles are protecting their 11-4 conference record and should be well prepared to take on this weak Jaspers team.

Thx Hoya, I faded them early in the year and have noticed they are not in sync.

Chase Pirate has a Fade Blackhawks and Fade Stars 3 game chase with 2 game 1's today. He is experimenting with dogs and small NHL faves. So far 3-0 unposted. Let's hope he doesn't get jinxed by posting.

So today I will bite the bullet and take the Kings. Calgary would be the other play against Dallas.

No pre-season MLB chases that I know of. I wasn't around then. So much is based on starting pitchers that most of the preseason doesn't fit the mold.

Semper can correct me if I'm wrong.

I do not chase preseason nor inter league baseball.  I will play an ocasional preseason game if I get a feeling or some info that the game means something to the starter at the end of camp when he is fighting for a roster spot. I love these spots and I bet them when I can.

We often talk about tricky lines, whereas a known program is a small road favorite over a lesser known program. It can be enticing to play the small road favorite but it usually doesn’t work out well. We mention that because this one is similar but it’s not the favorite that looks enticing. Both the Irish (#21) and Panthers (#16) are ranked. The two schools have identical 8-5 conference marks and 20-8 overall records. So how can it be that Pittsburgh is a 10-point favorite over this seemingly conference equal?

No doubt, the points are as enticing as any price we’ve seen this season but we know better. We could go into the X’s and O’s of the game and explain how each club has a certain advantage over the other in specific areas. Forget that. We know a “tricky” line when we see one and for Irish backers, this has trouble written all over it. With that in mind, we’ll side with the school that the oddsmakers don’t want us to side with and let the chips fall where they may.
