Angels have the worst farm system in MLB.  Pathetic.

Trout is not going anywhere.  Contract under team control through 2020.  Why would you even consider trading this 24 year old stud?  Angels would have to be overwhelmed with an offer.

That's the point! Trout SHOULD be winning. I want these clowns to pay for mismanaging the team and creating an absolute DISASTER THAT WILL DOOM THE ANGELS TO MEDIOCRITY FOR MORE THAN A DECADE. MARK MY WORDS!!!  The fans deserve more than a "Trout" show. Trout deserves to be on a winning team.

Call me an behind hole whatever you want, but I am really pissed off! I can see the writing on the wall. Almost every player that the Angels have traded does a good job for the team They were traded to. As for pool holes being a leader, what kind of man signs for $240 million (meaning you must have a great swing) then changes his swing in his 1st year with the Angels??? The swing was noticed by a TV commentator, which went from a longer graceful swing to a short choppy swing. He failed to hit a home run in his 1st month as an Angel and after a few months, he abandoned the swing and went back to his old swing. Why the hell would you change your swing after getting $240 million for what you did with the previous swing????? It doesn't make any sense at all

Usually when good players change their basic mechanics it's a result of adjusting to an injury but who knows?  Ask the batting coach.

Trout will stay an Angel until he can become a Free Agent. The Angels will have had an ample chance to put a team around him.

If they don't, he'll be gone.

There is no chance he'll be traded. You don't win by trading away players like Trout, but acquiring players like, or even 70% of his talent.

The Angels offense was absolutely terrible last year, with lots of empty bases most of the time, and  a very high % of their HRs were solo shots as a result.  I watch just about every Angels game here in SoCal, and was disgusted to see the amount of solo shots hit by their players.  As an example, just go look at the HRs hit by Trout and his RBI total LY.  Extremely low ratio !! 

I am hoping a change in batting coaches changes the outlook for the offense this year. 

Bring back Carew. 

And BTW, never trade Mike Trout.

You are an idiot to say at least. 

The problem is not Pujols. His contribution in offence and defence can't be underestimated. Nobody can player batter in that team than him but Trout.

Josh Hamilton was a disastrous contract due to injuries.

Trumbo is an average player and getting about 10kk from Baltimore is ridiculous. 

Their pitchers isn't that bad: Richards, Shoemaker and Heaney are the core of the group. 

The biggest problem is only one: BULLPEN

Soto.  Knows the rangers staff very well.  Reliable behind the dish.

Choi swith hitting young bat

Navarro line drive hitter

Ortega line drive hitter with pop.

Nava switch hitting option.  I like his bat.

I'm missing a few hitters here too.  thompson fron the braves is one of them.

Pujols had a severe toe issue last year.  Affected his bat.  He says it feels great.  Should make debut tmw.

This Angels team imo wins the AL and it's the Nats whom they face in october.

your premise on Angels pitching is way off, including their farm system...Richards and Shoemaker completely destroy that...they finally re-committed to the farm for bats, in a year or 2 something could come up and Trout will be what 26?

You don't trade a once in a lifetime talent like that bro...ask the Milwaukee Bucks(Jabbar)

Pujols is going to set a record # of double plays hit into this year. They will walk Trout and POOL HOLES will GDP. Why pitch to the best hitter in MLB when you have a moron who can't run and doesn't put his heart into baseball???????

POOH HOLES IS MADE!!! The guy takes the 1st pitch. EVERY TIME!!! HUUUUGE ADVANTAGE when you know what a hitter does every time. He wont change cause GOD tells him he can't. HE WILL NOT CHANGE!!! He still thinks that he is a GOD and he will hit better, but he doesn't trust the Angels cause they changed his swing, which was an absolute disaster. Now you have a bible banger that is STILL INJURED AND CANNOT RUN!!!

Why does Trout DESERVE to be on a winning team? There have been plenty of suerstars that never won titles, why does anyone DESERVE it? Reading through this thread you sound like a clown just looking to stir up controversy, you can't possibly think the Angels would benefit from trading Trout so why would they do it?

No Key far from it.

He will have to rely on movement, change of speed and location more than anyone else on this staff.  Guy competes his a$$ off.  Even if he is sitting at 80-83 mph on his fastball, the change up and curve ball are in the 60's.  Perfect separation of speeds.  Key Element 85 mph is the fastball velocity you absolutely do not want because the avg swing speed is around 85 mph.  You will get lit up.  So low 80's is fine, he will get plenty of outs, work quickly.  Your boy collementer is 80-84 and owns the Giants.  Jamie moyer pitched until he was 40+ years of age with a fastball sitting in the low 80's.
