Ever since 2000 the Yanks have spent money year after year. The Steinbrenners are sick of losing. Cashman is sick of losing. Jeter, Mo and Posada are sick of losing. A-Rod is sick of all the talk about how he is a curse and the Yankees will never win without him. Everyone is just sick and tired of losing. They want the monkey off of their back. They certainly want it more than any other team. I don't believe the Phillies' mentality going into this season was Repeat or Bust. That is what the Yankees live by year in and year out. They beat the Rays last year. The Rays are not the Yankees. Not even close. The Yankees are in another league than any other team in baseball. And the NL, like I said, is worse than the AL. I have learned...I learned it's a once in a lifetime type of occurance. If they lose today...they have 2 more games at the Stadium that they dominate in. And like I said...CC v Weaver and his near 5 ERA on the road would be Game 7 and the Angels wouldn't win that one.

And yes...Lee is dominant...but he's facing an equally dominant Sabathia. The difference is that Lee will face Matsui instead of a pitcher while Sabathia is used to that. That is the difference maker there. And Hamels is no threat at all. He's been garbage. He has had 6 straight games without a quality start. That won't work when facing the Yankees. He's given up 6 Homers in 3 starts this postseason. Enough said.
