It's okay, no one's keeping record of my crappy basketball plays. Didn't realize anyone cared so much as pay such close attention and point it out. Was just saying what I have tonight, anyway they were down a bunch when I posted... but it's a nice comeback!

The line isnt moving because they got Suns backers like you to balance the bets on both sides......you do understand its important for casinos to balance money on each side right?  Hence line movements to make one side appear more appealing

Look, I'm not saying that the Lakers -9 holds enough value for a wager to be placed.  I'm just saying that the value you perceive in Phoenix +9 is simply not there.

GL with your bet but.......When lakers had a meltdown and lost that 14 point lead in the 4th quarter, remember Lakers were on B2B games, one at home and the same night flying out to PHX to play another game the next day.  Lakers were on the verge of blowing out PHX at their own home and thats with Michael Beasley shooting like crazy I think he was something like 7/10 FG maybe even better......I can respect your bet but this is a bad spot to pick the Suns.  Just my opinion.

A lot of people on this site will try to away you from making your bet.  Stick to your guns. Theres a lot of bookies etc on this site. This was the easiest bet of the year for me.

Why would bookies care?  Do you really think their customers read covers?  Most of my betting friends never check gambling sites.

i've never seen such a poor game by kobe. i;'d say you're lucky??? does this performance happen on purpose...? does kobe shoot better and they blow em out?

the ending showed a lot for me with the useless basket from suns and then no foul on the final 20 seconds....

winner either way

also like cali said...the other day 5'6 or 6/7 (whichever it was) road dogs won SU...made for a fairly easy tuesday pickings with favorites.

Me, too!  But, we'll take what we can get.  Another bonus to the potential Thursday Night Set-Up Deluxe is that the Rockets looked studly in easily rebuffing the anticipated Warriors revenge effort (yeah, some effort).  Now if the Clippers look studly in beating the Rockets on Wednesday, we'll have an incredible situation on late night TNT forty-five hours from now.

Nice hit, Narco with the 9.5 points!  With the Lakers, it's not too hard to predict when they'll play badly, but it is tough to pin them down for a great game.  Once again, the Lakers had a long stretch of a game in which they seemed to forget how to play basketball.  The last eight minutes of that third quarter was inexplicably pathetic.  But then again, so are large chunks of the Lakers 2012-2013 season.

Thank you.  That pathetic performance is due to the jet lag legs.  I thought it was too much, I thought -9.5 last night was worth jumping on.  Especially with a Lakers team that struggles to cover night in and night out.  I thought it should have been -6.  I have a big play for tomorrow, I am waiting for the line on the Rockets game, and Harden's status.

We know you won on the Suns +9.5 but it's hardly right on your mind of after long trip you should fade them. To the opposite, Lakers were 4-1 ats after long trip. Yes you won but def. not when you fade them after long trip.

Aw, c'mon now!  You have to be joking!  Unless you can quickly come up with accurate stats that prove a history of Kobe shooting poorly at Staples in the first home game following long road trips, then I say you're trying to blow some serious smoke up our as.ses!  You benefitted from quite possibly the absolute WORST performance of Kobe Bryant's legendary career, and that spans over 1,300 games played.  Narco, I'm not taking anything away from your winning selection, but please don't act like you're not at all surprised by Kobe's anemic and shocking 1-8 for 4 points in 36 minutes "effort."


Sportscenter just reported that Kobe made the fewest field goals (1) of any game in his career in which he played at least 30 minutes.  If that wasn't his biggest stinkbomb of all-time, it was definitely in the Bottom 5.

I'm very interested in that game.  I guess you'll be going against the Clippership since they're also returning home after two weeks trekking through the east.
