I have an interest in the total of that game, but I will see how big the number is on the side, it may be an "unavoidable" bet for me.  I have been betting this sport for 15 years, sometimes, things stick out to me.  If you look at my posts last two weeks, you will see I do fairly well, especially in totals.

Never seen a worse line from Bryant.

Have you guys noticed lately than when KB has a bad game Howard seems to play with energy? It is almost like he enjoys watching him struggle and he gets off on it.

Maybe just a coincidence, who knows.

By the way, in my posts, I also predicted the lakers game would go under, and the Houston game would go over if Harden played.  I didn't play them.  I layed heavy wood on the sides tonight.  I'm not an arrogant capper, but I think it's an insult to say "you got lucky" to someone.  Everyone gets lucky.  It's called gambling.  I have done this long enough to know that I could lose the next ten, or win the next 15, I'm humble.  I just thought I share a very valuable play tonight.  I will share another one tomorrow night.  Goodnight to everyone.

I'm not saying the selection itself was lucky.  The pick was a winner, and a solid one at that. The Lakers are a schizophrenic and irretrievably broken team.  Betting against them is often a good idea.  What I am saying is it was very lucky to have Kobe play his worst game of all-time.  By the same token, I can also say that for you, it was a little unlucky that Dwight Howard, Metta World Peace, and old man Antawn Jamison all delivered very strong performances that nearly made up for Kobe's nothing of a ballgame.

Well, with this Lakers team, you can throw past seasons trends right out the window.  And I mean, every trend.  The longest road trip of this Lakers season prior to this one was four games long, and when the Lakers came home from that one they were laying a dozen points to the lowly Bobcats, and the Bobcats just missed pulling the upset.  I don't think Narco was grasping at straws when he figured the Lakers might struggle in their first game back because this team struggles in so many spots as it is.

I've done that in the past, and every time, the same thing happens.  I wind up tending to the thread all day long instead of doing my normal handicapping/betting routine.  The thread winds up becoming an unwieldy, yet often entertaining read, but my whole day is thrown off.  I can better balance posting along with betting if I just roam around and add my two cents here and there.

Okay, fair enough.  Feel free to agree or disagree in my threads. I like the insight.  I will post my pick once the line comes out on the clipper game, let me know your thoughts.  I won't change the pick, I never do, but you may supplement it with a side or total play.  Have a goodnight....I'll tell you this though.  The last seven years, I have bet against clippers after a 7 or longer trip, and I have lost like once or something.  So, even though I hate trends, I can't ignore that...haha

That trend can definitely hold up!  That road trip was wearisome with the way the Clippers had to make do without Chris Paul for most of it, and the Houston Rockets seem to have unlimited energy.

Yes, Harden's status, Clipper look ahead, refs, and the line will tell everything in less than ten hours.....Leaning heavy to Rockets, based on past plays, total may surprise a lot of people.  Let's let the linesmaker tell us what to play on this one.  I don't like Harden's ankle rolling.  But, it may not matter if Clippers are not interested.

Derek Anderson is a beast when it comes to unders and keeping the road team in the game.  I do think this game will go under.  But, I like the side even more.  Garzy Zielenke will also help out with Derek Anderson.

 

I predict the Clippers win by 4 or 5.  The Rockets have a great chance of pulling the upset tonight.

 

This is one of the biggest bets for me.  And, one bet that I always make annualy after Clipps come back from a long road trip.
