The refs assigned to this game are great UNDER bettors. Derek Anderson will keep the Rockets in the game. I like the refs assigned.
Now, over the last seven years or so, I have always bet on Clippers first game back after a long road trip. Usually, seven or more games. I don't recall ever losing, maybe once. It is ridiculous, downright an insult, to lay almost 11 points against a good team like the Rockets.
Rockets are not rested, I'm aware of that. But, these guys are a machine right now, besides, this is the last game before the all star break. Clipps, however, have to contend with a look ahead game to the Lakers (of which I will be looking heavy at the under).
I think this is a great spot for Clipps to be uninterested. Put it this way, if I send you out on a two week road trip for work, how do you feel first day back on the job? Not fresh.
I capped this at about 4 to 7 for clippers. I think Rockets have a chance at the upset, but I wouldn't be surprised if Clippers win by seven. They're definately not covering the 10 though.
And for those of you wondering on Harden's status....How many times has a team covered without it's star? Many. Why? Because the other team is not interested....I don't think Clipps are interested in this game tonight...

In general, is your opinion the home team will be more disinterested, or the road team? I know there are individual factors in each individual game that will play into this also.

I hope Bator doesn't mind me saying....but, the nine picks were there, and easy to find, and before game times.
I went 6-2-1 on them.....but, you have to know HOW he bets to get the most out of units played.

Personally, I think he is the difference between a good amatuer, and a total pro. I probably have said too much....and he might even think this post will be bad luck....yes, even the Batorman is a little superstitious.

My NBA leans tonight aren't even worth mentioning compared to a college play I love. I took Air Force +4 -110 over UNLV. They should win this game handily. I'm waiting on a better moneyline than +150, but that's probably not happening.
The only NBA plays I've nailed down so far are on the Magic ML +125 and the Knicks -8 -110. Nothing great. Now tomorrow, on the other hand, I have two GREAT plays, both on the TNT home teams.

them -3 -110 in the first quarter to win 1 unit. Also, I went under 53
-110 in the first quarter to win 1 unit.
I took the T-Wolves -1 -110 in the first half and -.5 -110 in the first quarter, each to win .5 unit. Each bet is cut in half from what I'd normally do, and that reduction is specifically intended to show my disrespect for the Timberwolves. I keep betting on them and they seldom get it done.

Hey Bator, you mind dissecting why you liked Air Force so much? I don't handicap college hoops at all, cuz the situational aspect seems a bit foreign to me with the college kids.
All I saw in that game was Air Force coming home after 2 road losses and UNLV on the road after an ego-boosting win against New Mexico (who was 1 of the teams Air Force lost to in their 2 road games)
