have to chime in against all those going waaaaay overboard about the strength of the west...for crying out loud, get a fu.king grip!!...yes of course its better overall, has better top end teams and is clearly faaar deeper.no argument.but to suggest that even the bottom qualifiers in the western playoffs wud deal to the cavs is fu.ken ludicrous....mavs,pelicans,blazers and even possibly rockets(who lucked out a bit in ending with higher seeding) all wud be underdogs to the cavs in a series and justifiably so.and maybe even grizzlies wud struggle to score enuff to take down cleveland, who knows??....take your rose-tinted glasses off and check wats going on in reality..just cos one side of the league is stronger doesnt make every feckin team in it super-human and on a whole nother level..that is patently absurd.ive always thought the cavs wud come up short and still maintain to this day that they will, but clearly their play and their cohesion and their resilience has forced me to re-evaluate their worth and their chances as they have progressed onwards.....theres sumthing wrong with you if you arent impressed by wat theyve been able to do,weak competition or not..they can only play wats chucked in front of them....regardless,even tho i cant see them lifting the trophy i have the brainpower to see that they are a billion miles away from having "zero" or "next to no" chance...thats fu'kin ludicrous..theyre gonna be +250 or so i think...now are books really gonna only give those type of odds on a team that has practically no chance???i guess all the smart-ars.es in here know more than the line setters then, huh??and for all those saying they have no chance well are you putting every last dollar you have on the warriors then??cos its obviously a sure thing after all??...and dont come back with sum weak shiiit like "oh,there may be a freak occurence or injuries" cos that wud surely be factored into the bold claim of the other side having no chance, right??
Melos,
The bottom line is this. You just said you can't see the Cavs lifting the trophy.
And if they don't lift it, the 30-1 future is the same as Sixers future. It will pay nothing. I've said this from day 1.
I have begged and pleaded on the most popular sports gambling website for somone to post a hedge. Notta one. And if someone does, I can explain to them how their ROI is nothing to brag about.
It quite revealing. No one is hedging because they believe the Cavs will win it all. And the longer they wait, if GS takes game 1, that hedge decreases in value exponentially (if they even have the bankroll left to cover such a hedge).
So the Cavs need to win to cash those tickets or else...they are as good as....bzzzzzzzzzzzz.
