Now I do like this Wizards a lot but 3rd best team in East is a stretch considering they missed the playoffs entirely last year and didn't make any HUGE moves to upgrade the team since last year. Yea - im getting off topic now I know but I will say my TOP 5 teams in East are as follows

1.) Pacers (with a healthy Granger)

2.) Heat (it'll be interesting to see if they add before trade deadline)

3.) Nets (starting line up by end of year - Williams Johnson Pierce KG Lopez) with Terry AK47 Blatche Livingston Taylor and Reggie Evans off the bench

4.) Knicks (when Chandler comes back they make a big run)

5.) Wizards

6-8 in no particular order (Hawks, Cavs, Pistons)

 

 

Obviously I'm high on Nets Knicks Cavs despite underachieving thus far but low on Atlanta Celtics and Charlotte as I truly believe these squads have overachieved a bit thus far. Bulls currently in 8th seed (if playoffs started today) but I don't see this team in the playoffs this year at all. Father time is catching up to this bunch of guys and losing Rose killed their hopes at beating the serious contenders out there. Deng will be shipped out before the trade deadline too. Letting Nate Robinson go in off season was a bone head move for Bulls front office. shame on them - no playoffs this year Bulls fans

Bulls signed DJ Augustin today. He will wear no. 14 and be available for tonights game. He played 10 games with the Raptors this season and averaged 2.1 ppg.

Cavs thus far been a fade material on the road. Love to ride them 1st Q and H at home but just havent seen anything on the road yet. BOL buddy

I also think the Rockets will beatdown the Dubs. Howard/Jones will dominate the boards against the soft Lee/Bogut combo. My take is this, they are similar offense/pace, but anything the warriors can do, the rockets can do better. While they both shoot the roughly the same, the team that dominates the boards will always have a clear advantage.

 

Your analogy on the Knicks is priceless though I can't relate LOL

@IDESTROYBOOKS - Good pick up for bulls.. I like Augustine, he will help that squad tremendously in the back court imo. Bulls may make a little run at some point but honestly in their current state I don't see them as a playoff team.

@TOM - I feel like tonight is as good as a spot as its gonna get with Cleveland. They have to be looking at this as a MUST WIN...so although nothing is guaranteed I believe we will get 100% from the Cavs tonight.

Just noticed I fucked up on the Brooklyn line..It's +6 not -4.5....Hahha I was way off...Nets +6 seems awfully tempting for me tonight.

As stated, these are all leans for now - Sixers down to +7 should have pounced on the 8.5. Cavs and Knicks lines bouncing back and forth by a half pt. Pelicans currently down to 3.5...Thoughts guys???

kings are too inconsistent to put money on right now..i wait to see how they play with the new additions.
any thoughts on brooklyn +6..they just beat the clips but may have lost lopez for tonihhght

I like Cavs +2.5. I'm on board with the idea that the Cavs are due for a road victory and who better than the Orlando Magic. Not to mention Cavs are playing well. I'm taking Cavs ML to get the extra $.

I disagree that Memphis is awful. They are a grind team that historically does well on the road. Doesn't mean I like them tonight though.

I'm hesitant to jump on board with the 76ers and the Kings. Lines seem fishy in both games. I understand the 76ers line is on the move but I still am not confident with them on the road. BOL though!

Regarding the dubs game, it's not that straightforward. Dubs have no bench right now, so starters will play lots of minutes, meaning Rockets bench will be going up against the warriors starters most of the night. Also, Warriors are not as soft as you make it seem and if they get up big the Rockets will probably call it a night.

Rockets Warriors should be a shoot out...might drop the lean on Houston and go with a play on the over (maybe first half)

Knicks failed to cover by 1 pt but managed to cover +10 on the last leg of a 3 team 7 pt teaser so I can live with the result...Wish Melo would have hit that 3 there though at the end...Brooklyn cover was saaawwweeeetttttt...And teased ATL w/ OKC and forgot to post - ANOTHER WINNER!!! Hits cavs/magic and cats/pacers overs as well but lost on the under in 6ers/raps...Hoping Spurs win by 2-8 as I got Spurs on a teaser @ -1.5 and hedged by taking Wolves +8.5

Knicks and Nets are both okay in my book...Both battled til the end and that's all you can ask for when you put $$$ on a team!!! Hope I get a max effort out of Houston tonight.
