My line is currently sitting at 8.5 NY. Does anybody else line drop this low. Should I pull the trigger Scal with 8.5? Maybe I should ask Felton about pulling the trigger.
8.5 and 8 are poor lines, VERY POOR. I am on bovada and still at 9.5 standard juice. Once we start hitting 8, we start to lose that aforementioned 'cushion.'
Felton will pull the trigger for you tonight, but it will be on the court...his last hurrah...

5 players that eclipse lebron james (relevant to the time in which they played) - michael jordan, larry bird, wilt chamberlain, kareem abdul jabbar, magic johnson.
You cannot tell me that lebron is actually better than any of these players. The man has supreme athletic ability. But as far as legacy goes, I doubt he will be remembered within that group.
Im not disagreeing that he is a great player. But the greatest player? I dont think he is.
He's better than Bird. His defense is all-world compared to Bird's D (or lack thereof).

Scal the only thing that scares me about your play is that this guy's on it,, and cocky about it.
I was on the Heat before this read and I have to stick to my game plan on this one. Good luck though! Well not really but you know.
There are 50,000 bettors just like him backing the Knicks tonight. Why? There are only TWO sides. If there were twenty sides, then is be scared but inevitably, squares will be all over your picks night in night out whether you like it or not, or even know if.
It's one or the other. Sometimes they choose one, other times the other. None of that scares me in the least. I can't bet place a bet for them or convince them otherwise. They do what they want.

If you are a fan, next year will be as bad as this one, but not worse. The best thing that can happen is Melo leaving and then clearing the books of all bad contracts in 2015, and then trading expiring contracts to get back in the draft.
where do you think melo would go

yo Scal I only got the line at +8.5....would you take it??
Right now I'd take it but I hate the line. 9 would really be my cutoff out of principle but gun to my head, I'd still have to put something in it, just a lower bet size. This opened at 10.5. You can check the line movement on this site.
I posted this at 1am last night specifically because ALL my Knicks posts without exception, have lines that move against me.
Some guys got it at 10.5. I understand people are not awake at that time but even at 7am 7:30am there is usually is very little movement. By noon EST the original numbers are gone.

and btw Lebron is that good.....hopefully won't be as good tonight, but nobody outside of Jordan and Wilt make the game look as easy as Lebron and watching him play live is even better, you appreciate his speed, strength, size, passing ability and off the ball intelligence alot more. But most of all he just makes it look so easy
even in games that i have watched him live and said well he didn't play that amazing....and then i look at his stats that say
10-18 from floor...26 pts...9 rbs, 7 assists, 3 steals, a block
The only person with comparable stats from the perspective of all the things he does on the floor....is Oscar Robertson and maybe Magic.....Jordan had huge games and nobody can deny his offense and defense every year but he didn't have the same rebound, assist and block numbers as James...and the amazing thing is how he has actually improved at the things he lacks, improved his 3 point percentage, his jumpers and fg percentage, and Jordan used to say he couldn't go left....but guess who shoots better then 99 percent of the league going to this left now..over 50 percent..but like Scal said considering defense as well
who else you know can play 1-5 on defense, and i'm not talking Magic in a certain game...

If the Knicks were smart they would have traded Melo before Feb 20th and put up with a fan mini-revolt. This is a lost season. Why keep him to go 31-51???
The whole thing needs to be torn down. I'd keep Hardaway and Iman and work from there. Everyone else from the HC, GM (and preferably the owner) goes.
I don't think Melo goes anywhere. Only a malcontent like Dwight can leave $30 million on the table. Melo is not going to walk away from that.
Why? That is almost HALF the extension the Knicks signed him to when he and here! It matters!

I mean the biggest flaw to his game, which was all we used to hear about was.....can't come up in the biggest moments
Well the last 3 years he changed that stigma
Just ask yourself, what doesn't he do well....his vision on a court is like a point guard, his shooting percentage is better then any 2 guard in the league, his size is like a power forward...
For those who think I ride Lebron, realize I'm a Melo fan...I love watching Lebron play and appreciate what he does on a court because I am a basketball fan and honestly the thing I like the most about Lebron is that outside of his ceremonious switch to Miami...where he used a huge platform on tv to announce his big switch (which by the way he only agreed to because the money for it went to charity)...and admits that it was a mistake..
What has he ever done wrong off the court since high school?...
Guy has been followed and scrutinized more then any athlete perhaps ever, especially with how the media spins everything these days but you never see him in trouble and is great at signing autographs and for his fans...

You have to discount the assist numbers. Jordan was so good, no one looked to get a pass from him.
And rebounding too. Discount that. He had one of the greatest RB'ers of all time in Rodman and some very big bodies underneath in Bill Cartwright and Wennington, Longly and Perdue. All those guys did was grab boards.
The traditional center is now long gone inflating LBJ's rebounds on both ends of the floor.

Scal I do have to agree about Melo, and I would keep Iman and Hardaway as well....Hardaway is improving and Iman is an unreal on ball defender...he is so underrated in his defense in my opinion
