what U.S. books do you guys like for live in game

5dimes i like because they offer pretty much everything BUT only if that game is selected (THEY dont have live betting for every televised game only certain ones)

Bookmaker 
has spread and the total for EVERY game that is televised, but often doesnt offer ML until 4th quarter unlike 5dimes

You know what Capt? Before reading into this thread and just seeing your initial post/title, I just assumed you were just some cocky mf trying to rub in our faces about how much you're winning/we're losing... And I apologize for that lol. I like your insights.
I've been down so much since this new year and getting fcked in the asss by half points. Maybe im just unlucky, who knows?
I've played an ingame bet once with portland under and it barely went under by half a point (dont know how it even was so close in the first place...15 points in 1.5 mins) Point is, I would like to try out live ingame bets, but what is the best preference or best opportunity to take those bets? Are there certain quarters that you love to look for the bets? (4th quarter) or do you just wait for a line early on?

Might be a dumb question but I would like to know what your preferences are. hope this makes sense and bol

Who has time to be gluded to the TV all the time. I could see if it was your career and you worked evening, resting all day planning on the night. But to live a normal life, then do all this live stuff is nuts... Then again, I see we finally GOT A LINK for all to enjoy. So as much as i want to think this is a real thread. My money is on getting MORE bettors involved...

 

After all... In game betting is much better, right ?

lotta good stuff in this thread.. been in the red many times and gotten my head above water with a sound in-game late night bet (or two). you can catch some real gems if a bad team gets hot early. like you said Capt, its about finding that balance between nerve, patience and intelligence

I might be a convert. After reading this thread I took Utah+10.5 in the 1st quarter large and then after GS went down took them money line thanks to Curry had a big night. I could see from watching it would be a close game and that Jazz didn't have finishers to close it out. Also went small on team total of GS under

I came up huge last night, all thanks to reading these posts and picking up on your advice.

I grabbed GS +6 and the ML (I think was around the +350 mark) when they were down a few baskets with about 8 or 9 minutes left in the fourth.

Amazing value, I was feeling that GS would be able to close out the game despite a poor night of shooting against the inexperienced Utah team.

I don't have a specified set of preferences when I'm monitoring a game. I have an optimal line in my head that I'm looking to snatch
up. You just have to closely watch the game for the tempo of the teams, adjustments being made by the respective coaches, how
key bench players are being utilized and what the mood of the refs is in that particular game.


All of this crucial information can't be culled and gathered pre game. Be patient, and when your coveted line is presented to you, pounce 
on it, my good man.

Whats channels you use to watch the game? Public channels are crap. Is there any channel for bettors? To see what's up on during the timeouts and maybe even locker room chat on halftime break?

well for me, i dont have the guts to pull off an in-game bet. except for hedging of course when i got my pregame bet covered. but if anything, i feel that live betting is a sucker for me, even if i got the best line.

i wanted to try this out though. like have a strong and a line that you really like pre-game. and then wait for it, if the team youre supposed to bet is down, then go for it. but if the value is not there, then move on to the next game.

I really loved the Heat anywhere from the pre game line up to -7. But because I wasn't monitoring the game and was distracted all day long with friends, I wasn't able to confirm the wager pre game, or check in on it in game.

It is incredibly taxing and time consuming, no doubt. But I've been successful with it for close to five years now.


With live wagering, I'm hardly thrown off by how the referees are interpreting and influencing a game. I'm also not caught off guard the coach's general disposition towards his bench unit or how the key guys are playing. Obviously there's times when sh!t is flipped upside down and what was a foul in the first half is a "play on" in the second, but generally, I find myself cursing the officials a lot less when my wager is made in game.

Obviously, this isn't profound or new to you, but I would recommend that you cut that number down to 1-2 and up your 1unit wager. So, if you're allowing yourself a $500 limit a day over 5-10 bets, key in on two games you really like instinctively and make a couple of $250 bets instead.

Heritage lets you live bet on your phone, tablet, wherever...

I think to simplify, get a favorite underperforming and buy low as they are down early or halfway and ride the cream rising to the top...Heat did this in the second half all last year--disinterested...and the ability to shut down anyone in the 4th and LeBron being LeBron

that's a really good question and a dilemma that all of us degen deal with every day, init? It would be a judgment call based on how well you know yourself as a degen. Does that game look good to you because you're clouded by a tilt fog, or is it a thoroughly researched game that's got value you just can't pass?

As others have said, it doesn't help to be inflexible and rigid when it comes to wagering. If you really like a line and have done your research, then you've gotta erase recent losses from your memory and HAMMER THE SH!T out of it.....within reason, of course.
