Those are two hurdles too big for PHX to overcome with its current lineup. Don't expect Amar'e or Nash to put this team on his shoulders.

25-1 is actually the best price out there to win the west. People on matchbook WANT 25-1, and easyodds.com (which compares 10 british books) has them mostly at 16-1.

I take back what I was thinking. At +2500 the value is hella there. I just put some money on it right now during the suns jazz game. If they can play like the way they played tonight on the road, combined with how well they are at home, they are going to be tough in a 7 game series. I know anything can happen but this isn't your +2500 OKC Thunder long shot, this is a healthy Suns squad who can take down potentially the blazers and give a hell of a fight to the spurs/mavs.

THEY CAN'T PLAY THE LAKERS UNTIL THE CONFERENCE FINALS.
That is HUGE when making this bet. They can definitely beat anyone in the West not named the Lakers. Chances are, the Lakers will face off with the Nuggets in the second round. Who knows, maybe the Nuggets could knock them off and we have a Suns/Nuggets conference final with the Suns having homecourt.
Anyone who said the bet has no value either didn't understand the possible matchups and more importantly the ROUTE it would take for them to win it, or just doesn't understand math.

Touts use the term "value" as a sales technique..Wasn't a compliment or a slam...I don't see value in a likely losing wager, that's all. Taking a hedge into consideration your right on.
