Well you are wrong about -150. That is a god awful price on the Lakers to win the West. Pinnacle has them +111 and wsex has them even.

I can almost guarantee that neither Phoenix nor Denver will win the West!!! Go back 15+ years and see if any team allowing over 100+ a game has ever reached the finals. The answer is NO!!!

ill be the first to admit i was wrong, suns are playing amazing basketball and look amazingly sharp.

im a believer now.  I would love to see the Suns beat the Lakers, that would make my season now that all the teams i had to win the west or the title are almost out....

Well I have that same bet on the suns for 100 to pay 2300. I will admit that I already laid all I can on the lakers so if they win i get paid and if they lose my suns bet covers the loss. That being said I love the lakers matchup against the suns with homecourt!!!! Lets finish the jazz first though lol!

Maybe a 7 game series but I will take the lakers any day with home court barring injury!

Where all my Suns +2500 guys at? Took the Lakers at even money before the playoffs started so I'm either up couple units for a Lakers win, or up 40 units with a Suns win.

I think the Suns take game 1, Id wait no matter what till after Game 1, Lets say the Lakers open at -250 and take game 1, whats it gonna go to -270, but if they lose, then your looking at probably -200. Id hedge, but wait for 1 game and if the Suns do win game 1, id wait till after game 2. IMO

A series win moving the line 20 cents? Lol it moves way more then that bud.

If the line opens at Lakers -300:

If Lakers win game 1, line moves to Lakers -420 (or more)

If Suns win game 1, line moves to Lakers -130 (or less)

I dont think the Lakers will go from -300 to -420 for winning a game that everyone already has them taking. if they take the first 2 games, then ya, go to -420.

There is one thing I know, and it is series prices and TRUST ME it doesn't work that way. Under your format where a team goes from -250 to -270 with a game one win, WHY wouldn't the world take the Suns series price and then hope for a game 1 win. If they lose, you can pretty much hedge out of your bet immediately. Almost like a free shot at a game 1 win.

Doesn't work that way.

Suns going up 3-1 entering game 5 in LA is the best and most realistic scenario.  Its going to be tough as hell to win a game in LA but I can see them stealing one if they play hard enough.  I mean they just swept the damn spurs.They hate kobe in Phoenix back during the Raja bell days.  I hope they boo him everytime he gets a touch. 

As for the 25-1 bet on the suns, just gonna sit back and enjoy this series for what its worth. Go Los Suns

I have seen the soft side if Gasol in the past.  It will come out against Amare stoudemire.  Amare>Gasol in every aspect of basketball.

Gasol doesn't need to guard Amar'e all the time.  Bynum and Odom will be switching jobs with Paula once in a while.  The rest of the Suns are too small to compete with this tall LA squad.  And the Suns will need consistent help defense to guard Kobe.  4-on-5 basketball waiting to be played in the Western Conf Finals.

Robin Lopez will be back. And then J Collins comes off the bench, plus you will see 6'10 Earl Clark in this series who physically can push Kobe around and stay with him when Grant Hill is not in the game. And who is gonna guard Nash, Fisher? Artest? Nash will blow by either 1 of them. And Kobe is gonna use energy chasing J Rich around the court, remember the 2004 finals against the Pistons when Kobe had to chase Rip Hamilton around, Kobe was tired, did not play great and they lost the series. He was younger and healthier. With that all said, Lakers probably win, but 4 on 5. Cmon, give the Suns some respect.

The Spurs were a shell of years past. Lakers are defending World Champs... that's a helluva difference...Gasol's a finesse player, one of the best in the World...then you have Bynum, Odom. Amare will have his hands full.
