BB has proven himself on this site and has posted numerous other angles which you likely find to be 'nonsense' as well.

I love angles that may seem odd or unconventional at first glance and you will more often than not take shots at that. I'm hitting 75% this year over a small sample and I hit 70% last year.

Are these angles legitimate? Possibly. And they also may have absolutely nothing to do with the outcome. But if you have a capper like BB who has a long-time association with his team, investing hundreds of hours in game watching (thousands over several seasons) and research into their mindset through countless articles read, he can be trusted with his angles because he's proven himself in the past with them.

It's not dissimilar to these 'system' bets where you have no idea of the inputs into an excel spreadsheet, which results in a posted play, typically just a single sentence long, if that. You just trust they will hit because you trust the poster. If BB says the Dubs will take it tomorrow, I'm more than willing to trust him, playful abbreviation angle or otherwise (and his angle as I've laid out for you and as he did in the OP is far more than an abbreviation).

I figured dubs but didn't want to assume anything.. Wasn't completely obvious to me I haven't seen any of your posts lately and I thought maybe after game 6 the way it went you would switch to the cavs after seeing the dubs come unraveled in that game

Choke city, Scal. I could not believe my eyes. I'm so disappointed in this team. So many chances at home to take the lead (with that crowd behind them), and to miss all those shots (a couple wide open), is inexcusable. This team has always come through in the clutch (I know cause I damn nearly watched every game). Always. I could not believe what I was seeing. They just needed to hit one big shot at the end, when they've made countless all season, and they could not do it. And that turnover by Curry?! My god, who does that in a finals game 7?! It is inexplicable. What a choke job. I'm so Sorry.

As you said, the behind the back pass by curry was just.... My oh my.

The defense on Curry and Klay on their last 3/4 shots was shockingly good! Even by Love of all people!

I'll ask you this: If Bogut didn't get injured, is this a different outcome and was Iggy another issue tonight based on what you saw of him all season? Obvious yes and yes?

Please please please don't leave your feet when Lebron is shooting a 3! That was the prelude to the dagger imo.

Perhaps playing for the record 73 hurt them in the 7th game of the finals? So many unanswered questions. Can't say I didn't enjoy the game. The first one I've enjoyed in a long time with money on it, perhaps due the very distant payout and the historic nature of the outcome either way. But now the Pats and the Dubs, two all-time great teams couldn't get to the finish line. Maybe this is another angle.

Let me help you here and say a write up wasn't needed. Any sane person would have right through you and your boyfriends nonsense. BB interesting write up as always.   As a warrior guy I'm interested in your insights 

The interesting part to me that aside from all the different angles to the series the bottom line is it came down to the last few minutes of game 7.   During that time, every warrior player had the chance to hit the winning shot and every1 failed.   Ie they all choked.   None of the Cavaliers, including Lebron, could do it either until Kyrie hit the winner.

I realize Steph was injured, and grant his abilities as a shooter, but from my perspective, watching him these last 2 years in the playoffs he is the laziest sloppiest point guard I think I've ever seen.

You nailed it A1629. "They choked", he says. His team choked, is the reason they lost. NBIU and referee bullshit is just like you said. The boyfriends', as usual, aren't nearly as sharp as they think they are.

I never thought Steph was a true point guard. He was and always will be a twinner. In fact, he is even less of a point guard than Westbrook. But unlike Westbrook, Step is a team player, willing to make the hockey assist, and he has worked very hard to become a better ball-handler and all around player (so I give him that). I think what we have to question here is his decision making, which was Westbrook level this entire series. Steph has always played carelessly, but nobody notices anymore (they used to when Jackson was the coach) because the Warriors were blowing teams out, and the margin for error was great. And the person who contributed the most to increasing the margin for error was Steph himself, who could erase or negate any mistake he made with his amazing shooting. Well, that shooting ability disappeared during these finals, either due to injury, defense, nerves or a combination of all three, so his deficiencies as a point guard became more noticeable, and the margin for error (for the entire team) decreased. And that (to me) is why they lost this series. 

And yes, they all had a chance, but the worst shot was the one Thompson took, because Green was wide open behind him. He looked in his direction (saw him open) but then decided to force the issue. It was an all around choke job. One of the worst I've ever seen in my life. You think the 80's Lakers, Celtics, or Pistons would have a 4 minute stretch like that at home? Can you imagine Kareem, Magic, Worthy, Byron Scott, Bird, McHale, Parish, DJ, Isiah, Dumars, Mark Aguirre, Vinny Johnson, going scoreless like that, the way Curry, Klay, Green, and Iggy did? No way in hell. It was disgusting and sad to watch. This is not to take anything away from the Cavs, bbut the Warriors lost that game, plain and simple.

Scal, everything you say is true: not having Bogut hurt, the Curry injuries really hurt (threw him and the team off) chasing the record really hurt, and the OKC series took a lot out of them as well. And on top of all that, they got screwed with the Green suspension and they got no love from the officials during the latter part of the series, games 5-7 the Cavs got the best of the officiating. And yet, the series was theirs to lose. That 4 minute stretch when they could not buy a bucket is one of the most pathetic displays of basketball I've ever seen at this level (involving a so called all time great time with two of the greatest shooters in the history of the game). It was an all-time choke job, much worse than the Patriots because the Patriots were beaten by one miraculous play. These guys had at least five chances to win the game (because everyone on the Cavs was missing too).

Kerr should have recused himself when he realized his headaches were so bad that he couldn't even think anymore (his in-game adjustments were even worse than his game to game adjustments). He was obviously way off his game, as was apparent in the OKC series (and then getting out-coached by Lue). He had also lost the pulse of his team and didn't even know which guys he could trust in the big game (read article above). After the Warriors lost, all the GM kept talking about was what Kerr went through and all his headaches, etc. and how he just wants his friend to feel better and all that is more important than basketball. In other words, even the coach was hurt/impaired during these playoffs.

It was a rapturous night, the joy still echoing out into the next day and well beyond. I cried when they won last night. Real tears. I don’t even know why.

But as we exult in LeBron James accomplishing his impossible mission, let us not forget that it came at the expense of the Warriors, who are choking shitbags. Yes, for every heartwarming story, there is an equal and opposite target for our collective schadenfreude. And so we must take a moment today to pause the celebration and get in our trolling while we can. Because you, Golden State Warriors … you are garbage. You are obnoxious, overhyped, namby-pamby frauds.

I can’t believe I liked this team a month ago. But between Draymond punching everyone in the person, and trophy-humping owner Joe Lacob trying to take credit for their success, and Steph Curry tossing around ill-advised behind-the-back passes (I swear that Curry believes he needs to take longer shots and attempt dumber passes in order to regain his mojo any time he loses it), and Ayesha Curry truthering away losses, and our own Kevin Draper turning any mention of his team into an opportunity to give the rest of the Deadspin staff a tutorial about how the game of basketball works, these f u c k faces have fallen from grace faster than Chewbacca Mom. It’s the fastest heel turn in sports since … since, well, LeBron left Cleveland the first time.

Frankly, this team deserved to lose. The Cavaliers didn’t win this series by accident. Last night, the Warriors got outhustled by Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love. Do you know how hard it is to make Kevin Love look like a capable defender? Was Golden State even aware it was the last game? Maybe you believe, as I do, that desire in sports is sometimes a bizarre quirk in the cosmic infrastructure that comes and goes for reasons outside of your control, even if you happen to be a world-class athlete. But even so, it was jarring to see Irving playing his guts out while Curry looked like he was auditioning to star in a Justin Bieber Vine. Sometimes all the clichés and hustle and grit are real, and last night the Cavs went for every loose ball like they were sheltering a baby from gunfire. Those balls were THEIRS. The Warriors, by contrast, played like they were waiting for their inherent awesomeness to arrive. They played like (say it with me) GLORY BOYS.

This is America, and in America we only like winners when they win. You can win 73 games in the regular season and exhaust your resources in the process (rest your starters next time!), but you better f u c k ing finish the job, and you REALLY better not blow a two-game lead to a coachless opponent. Otherwise, you are dead to me. You may as well have not played this season at all.

And so we close out this NBA season by offering a hearty F U C K YOU to these pathetic underachievers for failing to live up to their own impossibly high standards. F u c k Curry. F u c k him trotting his kids out every night and inevitably turning them into little Jaden Smiths in the process. F u c k Lacob, who almost certainly lamented the fact that he had resort to f u c k i n g a human last night instead of the Larry O’Brien trophy. F u c k Draymond, who nearly stole the title away from Cleveland with a barrage of Satan-mandated threes that he didn’t deserve to make. SUPER f u c k Anderson Varejao, who is the worst flopper in a league flooded with them … a man who clearly grew out his Fry Guy hair so that he could dramatically whip it around in front of a gullible ref. F u c k Mo Speights’s head mole. F u c k Harrison Barnes for being Harrison Barnes. And f u c k these spoiled fans … who took a entertaining basketball team and retrofitted it to their own professional delusions. They’re like Pats fans who take credit for Belichick’s genius, and they all deserve to drive off a bridge gap. F u c k the Warriors, may they forever rot in hell.
