the fact is lebron is good, even great. but he is not on kobe's level. you pretty much can narrow it down to this, ask someone who is better out of the 2, the majority of people who say lebron are complete dick riders, and most people who aren't big on either will say kobe. he's proven, and a better all around player. he's much better when it comes to shooting. and call me crazy but i would take chris paul over lebron in a heartbeat, look how horrible that team plays without CP3
You're forgetting Dikembe Motumbo and Aaron Mcckie but it's ok, ill let it slide.
The majority of analysts and writers agree that LeBron is the better player this season.
No one is denying Kobe's greatness and the fact that for his CAREER, he is better than LeBron. This should be obvious considering the time they've both been in the league; we are talking about this season though. LeBron as of now, is a better player than Kobe Bryant.
Do you understand what constitutes a basketball player?
Scoring: LeBron
Passing: LeBron
Defense: LeBron
Rebounding: LeBron
If you want to nitpick, yes Kobe is a more prolific scorer, but all that matters at the end of the day is who scores more at a higher percentage and that would be LeBron.
You guys fault him for not having a jumpshot, but it doesn't matter as long as he scores at a high percentage. No one is going to take Z over Shaq because he can hit a jumpshot; starting to make sense now?If LeBron develops a great jumpshot he's the perfect player. That's his ONLY weakness. He doesn't need a jumpshot to contend with Kobe; you make it sound as if Kobe is top 5 all time which he clearly isn't.
Ill say this again.
Which player do you take?
someone shooting at 49% for 29 ppg
or someone shooting at 46% for 28 ppg?
You'd be an idiot to take the second, and you can clearly see who I'm talking about in each.
