Onto the real game and away from your petty games (and you know who you are).

The Game: KNICKS @ HEAT 1 PM
First I want to say something about this Wizards game.
For those of you on the Wizards side or ML, thank your lucky stars. If you think that was a shrewd pick and you're "countin' your money baby!!!" you escaped with your life.
If I or any Knick backer knew that Melo suffered an injury over the Nets, the Knicks absolutely could not be backed in that spot.
Even with Carmelo having one of his worst games of the year (if not THE worst), the Wizards BARELY pulled that out and needed heroics at 22 seconds to take a 1 point lead.
That is the perfect example of lucking out in a bet. That is not bitterness. It is reality and if you don't believe it, keep betting sides or ML's like that. You will pay dearly in the long run because the Wizards played very poorly against a team that had 4 guys playing and one guy ruining their play (Melo).
Now, onto the Heat game.
No need for a long write up here. It's fairly simple.
I went back and watch the Wizards Knicks game again to see how the Knicks were playing and the extent of Carmelo's injury.
Guys, he was absolutely horrendous.
5 - 14 for 10pts and 9, count 'em NINE turnovers.
There was one player in that game who was the worst player on the floor: That player was Carmelo Anthony.
How bad was he?
Not only was he bricking shots, he wasn't even getting separation. They weren't even good looks. He was lucky to get rim on a few.
In addition to that, he couldn't even pass the ball cross court.
With one minute left, on the turnover that made the win possible for the Wizards, Melo tried to push the ball to the corner for a three and it was so weakly thrown, it was easily intercepted.
This was not a bad pass, this was his shoulder.
On the last play, he couldn't even dribble the ball through traffic. This is basic basketball here guys.
He cannot play right now.
If this shoulder is like this tomorrow, they are finished.
And for this game, I think it will be. I don't care how much cortisone you put in this thing, three things were clear in the Knicks game:
He can't shoot
He can't pass
He can't defend
His defense on the game winning shot against Beal was that of a clueless high schooler after he switched off his man.
I also looked back at the Nets game to see if he was bad their too.
Well it appears after the half, it could have been.
After a dominant first half, he went 2-4 with 2 turnovers and two fouls in the second half. We can't put too much stock in that since it was a blowout and they didn't need him.
So what does this all boil down to? He sabotaged his own team mainly because he probably felt his team needed him (they didn't) and Woodson kept him out there (typical). Ya can't blame him in a way. The Knicks are so thin in talent, just Melo's headband on the floor is a boost to this team.
