Great call Scal. I'm not going to lie I put down $2,200/$2,000 so I was sweating it out there at the end, but as always win or lose you always make great calls

READ ALL of the above and thank you for the kudos.
I am really zeroing in on the Knicks now hitting at the gold standard of 8-2 (80%) in games involving them.
What a shame that I had to cap other teams really and fu** it all up. (Fu** You Cavs)
Everything here went exactly as planned.
Thank god I rewatched that wizards game and saw how bad Melo played. Ya see folks, Vegas does not always know. They don't DVR Knicks wizards games to see the extent of an injury for Melo (it's bad). He says he's a go and the line settles at 7. Terrible line setting there.
The 1 pm start time? Could never have been in this line. If both those things are factored in the line is right where I said I capped it in the OP: at 10/10.5. Game ends on 11.
Melo shot them right out of the game and them JR out the nail in the coffin.
If JR is having a good (rarer than an albino Sasquatch) game you know Carmelo is having a bad one, and that can't happen on this team. They are just too thin in roster-wise for Melo to stink it up like this.
Of course, Melo is stinking it up for a reason. He's injured.
A gutsy play would be to go small and push the ball with Hardaway taking the rest of his minutes.
Another decent plan would be to go to a two guard set with Felton and Prig and rotate the ball for good shots.
But look at Prig. Zero points in 17 minutes. Disgraceful...
Hardaway - 0 pts in 11 minutes. Disgraceful...
They are thinner than fu**in paper mâché. Woodson can't even pull Melo who is killing them because there is nothing behind him. Nothing!
This will make it tough to cap the Knicks from here on. They will win some of the remaining but we have to have more of a complete injury status on Melo to get a clearer picture and a good spread. I'd say just rest him completely for the next one and aggressively tend to the shoulder and hope to guy out a win.
And look at the Hawks blowing away Indy at the moment as 8 point dogs on the road.
Ladies and gentlemen, YOUR New York Knicks and Mr. 22 3 point attempts!

I am NEVER for playing exotics but THAT Melo under one was a smart one.
They hadn't a clue what was wrong with him (a lot) and you took full advantage.

@lmb I can't play the lakers rockets game. The whole laker team has been shut down (although I know why you are asking - get thrashed by the clippers and win the next big one like setup in the OKC game? Good memory).
Yesterday Bazemore went down and he gets an MRI today so likely won't play.
Nick young is playing through an injury and can get shut down at any moment.
Gasol
Nash
Kaman
Farmar
All done for the season.
I couldn't hang a line on that game if I were Vegas. 18-20? Is that enough? Not if the lakers have only 7 healthy guys and Jordan hill as their starting center (and no backup center!). And he's really a forward "Kinda movin' around underneath" so I'm using the center designation liberally. Vegas will probably go 17/18. 16 at a bare minimum on a b2b.
I'm looking at the records and the lakers aren't in as great a shape for the draft as you think. They have the sixth worst record. If a team leapfrog a them they get the 7th pick. If two teams do, they get the eighth pick. This is assuming their lottery balls don't come up.
Those aren't rock solid picks for what will be the worst season in their history.
The ONLY thing they have going for them is that if they lose one more, they set the all-time laker record for losses in a season. That is motivation to win something before year's end.
Utah can still tie them or pass them as they will likely not lose out. Lakers should lose out if they are smart and owner/coach/GM are the rying to with this player shutdown but players don't tank, they play it right to the end.
Lakers will likely win just one more. Which one? We'll have to see.
Better games are the last home game against the Grizz on 4-13 or the last game of the season against the spurs if the spurs rest everyone (and it is still very iffy even if that happens).
The NCAA: Beginnerboy put the second largest bet of the year on kentucky. I'll roll with his pick.

If he really is injured then why is he playing? He's a stiff when he's healthy. Then you got Smith! 22 attempts! Disarray! They are so bad.
