It doesn't get any worse than that BB.
And there will be no easier game than Spurs Pacers. That was THE GAME to bet (outside of Knicks bets only because I trust my read more). How you had deities helping you cap it is beyond belief.
I have to say I HAVE to get this one. No excuses here. That rockets win sets this one up very nicely.
Although I would have preferred a loss to the jazz for the Knicks, it may have deflated them too much to be back what is three games with 7 to play, even if it is the Hawks (and now the Cavs are a worry too).
The last nets Knicks game on 4/15 may not matter as much, line may be outrageous, potential for rested starters, in dreaded Brooklyn where no one can win.
This is the game. The nets had a chance to put a stake in the Knicks hearts and did not do that in their first meeting of the year when the Knicks were on a 9 game losing streak.
That gave them hope. Now even better, in a mini-revenge spot since the last nets win, the Knicks have the table set to catch the hawks. No slip-ups can be had.
If Pierce, a guy who blew up my nets picks twice this year (lakers and cavs and I know you remember the Jason Collins game because you were the one that pointed Pierce out) doesn't come out firing on all cylinders, the Knicks will wear the nets down and take it home. No 24 from PP and the Knicks will neutralize the other nets, outside of maybe Deron who I expect to perform. Without a line really, it is a perfect spot to take the Knicks.
I seriously had this at 4.5 Knicks given the b2b (and I thought the rockets game would be much tougher, but really the rockets are a different team without Beverly and Howard, much different so I'll excuse it). I couldn't tell you how pleased I was to see 2.5. Overjoyed. One hook later and it's only a straight up win we worry about for all intenets and purposes.
With their season on the line, it's a VERY tough sell for me to see the nets sinking this team on a b2b, in front of Phil, with the Knicks playoff life in the balance, with the first game since the Cavs at MSG...
A 3 or 4 seed is squat in comparison, no matter the talent.
