We had numerous back and forth arguments when the suns were dominating the regular season and covering....I was saying CP3 will choke..Playoffs are a different animal..U were like..Not this year..and started pounding all your Suns stat when leading after the 4th or undefeated when leading by x amount of points.. I told you regular season means NOTHING...U were like oh even if CP3 gets hurt or chokes..we have Cameron payne....Straight out of your mouth...not mine...

Nick Wright of Fox Sports backed the Mavericks throughout this series. I didn't catch all of his commentary, but each time I did his conviction in an eventual series victory by the Mavs never wavered, not one bit. Tomorrow he will be crowing on TV as he readily deserves to, and as further punishment, I will force myself to watch and listen.

You just claimed that you told me in one of these threads that the Suns regular season accomplishments "meant absolutely nothing." But you never said that, "meant absolutely nothing."

Oh man, I love it when you share your thoughts and info with the forum; but in my long history here I know that long write-ups like this from you usually result in a loss for your pick. Especially in big games like this.Idk, maybe I'm misremembering. I hope I'm wrong because I'm on the same side. Maybe I'm the mush.
It stung an equal amount to read that before the game and again after the game. But you were right, kimoinsd808.

They won't be scared. I'll even go so far as to say that if this Game 7 was being played in Dallas, the Suns would win. They'd come out with a much more determined mindset than they did in Games 3, 4 and 6. They were just soft in all of those.
Jesus Christ. It's as if the gamewas played in Dallas.

It's just one game, my dude. At least we don't have to sit at home for months like the Suns. On to the next cap/bet.
Let's go Darwin

Suns are supposed to dominate and go to the finals, problem is this year they aren't playing injured teams. They thought they would roll the mavs. If mavs lose they will be upset, but their season would still be a success. Suns losing here would be a huge disappointment. They could come out tight here.
Tight doesn't quite capture what happened to them. We need a stronger word. I'm too dazed to think of what that word could be. Anyone?

@MrBator It is a good writeup and several good points. It would convince me to bet the suns -6.5, except one fact, can't bet on a cursed al bundy type player in cp3 in an elimination game. Others may step up and suns could still win and cover, but cp3's bad luck might take down the whole team.
He sucked, they ALL sucked. Unreal, a complete full team faceplant in their biggest game of the year.

Game 5 tight and game 7 tight two different animals. While I don’t see Dallas winning the game I think 7 points is a key number and a lot of points to lay in a game 7.
Two different animals.
Yup.

@MrBator Didn’t know you still posted here but great to see you posting here as the forum is a shell of itself back when it was at its peak over a decade ago. the Mavericks have a chance to win the NBA TITLE this year but ultimately, I can see the Warriors winning. It will be a tough series and Jason Kidd is underrated as a coach. The Miami Heat also have a chance as well so it will be an interesting conference Finals on both ends.
All things are possible for the Mavericks, Warriors, Heat, and Celtics, but my interest in this NBA season ended tonight.

You are a real gentleman for coming back in here and responding to all these trolls who don’t know when to quit or stop. Good luck to you, sir. And I hope this experience doesn’t keep you from posting your thoughts. Iron sharpens Iron, so it’s great to debate with someone who understands the sport on many levels. Win or lose, you are an asset to this place.

Almost seemed like the cp curse spread to the whole team, never seen booker play horrible either. shocking result. They all forgot how to play at the same time. They need to cut ties with cp3 if they ever want to win anything.

That is exactly what it felt like! The whole team seemed to be infected today with whatever is holding Chris Paul back from true greatness.

This thread is actually a benefit for the entire community of degen gamblers. It's cathartic really for me as it demonstrates all bets can and do lose no matter what the perception. I had Phx futures and lost, end of story. Actually, glad I lost it all now instead of putting more had they faced Warriors, probably saved me $5k. There are no easy paths. Thanks Mr. Bator for your confidence in this Phx team, it didn't work out but you remained steadfast, that to me says something. We all lose in the end, just hope nobody got hurt to bad.
Now let's go Mavs.
All Out
