3 things:
1) you guys are 8 months away from the start of the season.
2) Whattaplay believes games are fixed. If games are fixed, why the hell would you bet in the first place if you are the one getting screwed by the invisible hand of the books?
3) No point on doing a capping contest if most of you are just followers. Waiting for the reputable posters to make their picks or post their writeups and then just following or trying to reach to conclusions based on the others´ premises. But very few could give the arguments that support your bets midweek before the real sharps start posting. RIP Achilles. It´s not their records what set LC, DK, Scal, Achilles, GucciCapper a league apart from the rest. It is the fact that they provide arguments and not just picks. Reasonable arguments and not complete nonsense.
**Sidenote to the mods because I know you will see this: Banning Achilles is not a right move. He is the reason why a "new" guy like me, who does bet significant money, who is looking to turn pro this year after 1.5 years of doing this part time with success, and who is willing to post often and good threads here, got here in the first place. If I post and all I have are lurkers benefiting from my thoughts but no good input from the rest of the community, I will obviously leave and so will the rest of the good posters. I understand there has already been an exodus. Watch out for this, I get that you need to bring newbies who are just making their first steps in betting. But most of them seek the relevant advice and discussions (especially the newbies that join to stay for long). Check how many views do the threads containing only a "Rams+2,5" have as opposed to a thread opened by the new guy who is writing. I give lots of info for free... I need to have good minds that can discuss that info with me.
I come from the poker background. Don´t let this site become the 2p2 of sportsbets where all the good minds had to move on.
