Jacksonville will win over 7 1/2 games and go to the playoffs. You'll be fine.

The issue is the risk.  I once made a bet with my life savings on the line.  Thought no way in hell it could lose based on the situation at the time.  I ended up winning.  Hope OP does too.  Trevor playing amazing ball lately.

They were 2-1 and had just smashed both the Colts and Chargers. I thought those were both really good teams at the time. They should have been 3-0 just had bad breaks in their opening season loss. At that point, they had the best scoring diff. In the NFL. They had scored 90 and given up 32. Against 3 expected playoff teams. Their next 4 games all seemed very winnable ( they ended up losing all 4 ). Texans, Colts, Broncos, Giants. They lost them all. 

Their number stayed at 7.5 even after the 2 dominant victories. I bet huge on the over. I sat down in the sports book and ESPN was on talking about how good they were this year. And that they should win 10-11 minimum with such a soft schedule coming up. I bit hard and kept adding to it. They then lost 5 straight games and after they had lost 3 and now at 2-4, they inexplicably we're still -110 to make playoffs. This even after losing to the Texans. I saw an opportunity to bail out of the over 7.5 bet but their number was now at 6.5 so now way was I risking that. If they win 7 I'm fked. 

My thinking was if the over 7.5 loses, there is no way my NO playoffs could lose. 

Now I could still get fked but it would require Jack and Tenn to both lose our and then tie against each other.

I feel a lot better now. 

I'm pretty sure the Texans are going to beat Tennessee but I hope not.

Thanks. Close to it. I need Jacksonville to beat the Texans next week, which they should. That would win the over 7.5. Then I would hedge the final game and get most of that money back. 

Tonight's win was HUGE. If they lost tonight, they would have had to win the last 2 to go over, but that would also guarantee they win the division. 

Yeah I made a big mistake with that. Because to lose both those plays would have been devastating. 

I hit a $5000 play on the browns under last year, then made another $7000 bet at +120 and it win. Since then, I have been a little out of control. Betting too much.

You will breakeven. Lose the under 7.5 but win the NO for making the playoffs.

Looks like the opposite now. But either way..

For what it's worth I think they split the last 2 games Texans win at home then Jags beat the Titans at home

in that case he can win both bets.
