Totally agree, how does anyone pass up 133 million guaranteed for 3 years? Dude is about to get a reality check soon and one that he won't be able to cash.

people are always talking out of their ass. they dont know shit because they are lazy and stupid. if someone already doesnt care for someone and they hear something negative about them then they simply accept the negative statement as fact fuck whether its true or not.

take your Lamar Jackson Jersey off.....We are lazy and stupid? So u calling the Baltimore Ravens lazy and Stupid..his got damn own team does not even want to give him anything near a fully guaranteed contract...Everyone else is in collision and lazy and stupid...I think the only person that is lazy and stupid now is Action Jackson.

It seems LJ was apparently using a "representative" who isn't an NFLPA certified agent to reach out to teams to see what interest they might have. The NFL shut that down pretty quick. LJ's choices are getting dumber and more costly by the day.

when whoever owns you can get the minions speaking on your behalf youre doomed. there are players who represent themselves but of course you didnt hear from the sheep with those players, though not like the ignorant sheep even knew about those players. we are very close to touching the bag hater's faces will melt

I hope no one signs this guy. He's injury prone and is a below average passer. I think he's a malingerer and was well enough to play in the latter part of the season but didn't want to get hurt. I think he quit on his teammates.

1 to 3% is the stated limit that an NFL contract agent claims to get...coach Jason Brown, who is a media insider in the NFL, on the Whitlock show claims that Leigh Steinberg got 10% of Mahomes 503 million dollar contract, 450 million of which went to Mahomes...
I can't find a direct link that proves Steinberg's percentage but then a lot of things can't be proven from the information that is available to the public. Steinberg has negotiated over 3 billion dollars' worth of athlete contracts including Deion Sanders and other high profile athletes and if you or anyone else thinks Steinberg's net worth is 20 million then a claim could be made that YOU are delusional.
Even if Steinberg's cut from Mahomes was only 3%...are his services really worth $15.9 million? I theorize that there is collusion between agents and the NFL. It is all about control IMO. OR it all could be a Cohen...cidence???

SI is reporting that the Ravens offered LJ a $290 million, 6 year contract with $175 million guaranteed. LJ turned it down. Dude is a dumbass living in an alternate reality.

First couple weeks he gets a hold of his ma everyday "Hey ma,any teams call today",that last for a couple weeks and finally the ma's like "Hey Lamar,I'll get a hold of you if I hear from any teams"

Lamar Jackson meet LeVeon Bell... Bell couldn't find it in his heart to take $14M franchise tag $ from the Steelers or the more than generous contract they offered.
Sat out a year, went to Jets, never heard from again... I wish someone would sign Jackson just to watch him fall on his face... That's not going to happen though. Maybe he'll refuse to play for the $32.5M, wouldn't surprise me at all, the moron that he is. Won 1 playoff game and he thinks he's among the best qb's in the league. Not even close.

seems nfl contracts still confuse a lot of people who dont understand words like guarantee and clauses. if the 20th ranked qb turned down a 100 mil contract with 3 mil guaranteed at signing people would call him a dumbass

@Killer_B
I get what you are saying. But a RB is not that valuable compared to a QB in today's NFL.
Where do you rank Jackson among current QBs? Which QBs would you rank clearly above him and which would you consider maybe ahead of him? A lot of very good QBs only win 1 playoff game or do not win any playoff games.
I am not a fan of the team or him really. But he has them way more over the barrel than they do him -- if they want to win. I doubt he sits out, I think they come to an agreement. The key point is with him it cannot be all guaranteed.

Yep you would have cashed lol. It's been in planning for a year, OBJ has talk to Lamar and Ravens on and off.

Is it possible that BAL signed OBJ as part of a plan to go after Aaron Rogers? When the Jets asked AR what he might want to come to NY, he told them OBJ. Maybe BAL was listening and is working on a deal to get AR. If that happens, LJ may as well start packing. Why would OBJ agree to come to BAL? Their current offensive scheme isn't really set up to put the limelight on a receiver - OBJ craves the limelight. He didn't sign with BAL because LJ is some great passer. It's not the city itself - the place is a craphole. So why did OBJ sign with BAL? He did get a good deal - $14m signing bonus, $1m salary and $3m in incentives for a 1 yr deal. Maybe there weren't a bunch of other teams lining up with that much cash?
