how come san diego didnt just kick an onside again what do you have to lose your gonna have to play d for 1 first down regardless if denver gets ball back

The onside kick was impressive. 

Decker was involved in 3 huge plays that affected the outcome:
1. Pass deflection for INT in end zone --killer
2. Onside kick- should have had it, but I'll give him a pass.
3. Punt return where he fell down. This one really bothered me because he was free and clear and tripped himself. If he scores there, I'm convinced the route is on. This return began the drive that ended with the INT in the end zone. So he pretty much bookended the drive in fairly crappy fashion.

Take Denver next week they will smash the pats, indy was terrible two weeks to prepare for indy, Denver owes the Pats and will bury them, they made a good San Diego team look like garbage, 3rd and 17 with game on the line easily get first down, there will be no letting off the pedal like they did vs diego, they smash patriots...35 14

How come I see a lot of folks claiming the bye teams had two weeks to prepare for their opponent?   Pretty sure they only had a week once they found out the results of the wild card games.

just looking at the numbers, and i'm no math wizard and i've crunched these numbers over and over again, but..

+3.4 units + 1.2 units = +4.6 units

Alright - here are my picks for the 2 games this weekend:

Both with currently available bettable lines:

1.  Denver -5.5 (3 units).  The key in this one will be Denvers running game.  If they choose (which is always a big if with coaches in the NFL) - they should have great success running the ball.  If they do, they again wont punt the ball this week.

2.  Seattle -3.5 (3 units).  End of the road for the 49ers.  They just wont be able to score enough points on the defense at their place - and seattle will find enough points to win.  Not thrilled about Seahawks offense - especially when recent form is isolated.  Im concerned about a 3 point win, but I have seattle winning by 4+ points 61% of my simulations, and in 72% the 49ers score under 16.5.

I am with you Van, but if this will be SB 49, kinda thinking destiny will be the 49ers to be there.  But I am hoping for Seattle,  NE has been doing it smoke and mirrors so hopefully their run ends in Mile High and SF ends int he Emerald City. No matter, should be a great SB.  Thanks again.
