Have no idea how the Saints stop the pitt offense. The matchup is absolutely amazing for Bell.

Although Giants is a shiiiiiit, betting on Jags is almost like betting on 76ers in a great spot....

You simply can't ask much from a team like that

The 76ers covered recently vs the Nets and Mavs.  I would rather bet the 76ers over the Jags any day.  I am leaning Jags right now but not sure if I will bet them or not.

New England (+3) 29 GREEN BAY 30

This should be a great game featuring two of the best quarterbacks to ever play but it could be won on the ground as the Patriots will look to exploit the Packers poor run defense and control the clock, keeping Aaron Rodgers off the field. No one does a better job of being game plan specific and the Patriots pounded the Colts in Week 11 for 246 yards on the ground at 5.6 ypr as they took advantage of a soft Indy rush defense up the middle. I expect a similar approach this week against a Green Bay rush defense that is allowing 138 yards at 4.6 ypr and does not possess a lot of bulk up front. Success in the run game will open up play action for Tom Brady and their very good passing attack that is averaging 275 yards at 6.8 yps against teams that allow 231 yards at 6.1 yps. The Patriots should move the ball well and be able to put up some points in this game.

On the other side, the Packers pass offense has been off the charts (averaging 7.7 yps against teams that allow 6.5 yps) but they’ll face a New England pass defense that can match up well with the Green Bay receivers. The Packers will look for balance and may also employ a greater than average dose of the run game with Eddie Lacy getting added work. This game is really a toss up to me,  I’ll lean with the Patriots plus the points.

I don't think Scal was disrespectful at all...but provided some great insight and perspective that all on forum can benefit from and make their own choices. I have to agree with Scal on this one but will stay away...

This is one of a dozen comments Ive seen aimed at Scal in this thread alone and I don't get it. Scal been posting here for a good decade and giving out great insight and a ton more winners than losers. So he started this NFL season like 4-5 and he sucks?? Wtf am I missing? 

I see a lot of hate aimed at LC too. That's another dude who week in and week out brings good insight to the table. IMO, he is one of the better cappers and could be GREAT, but IMO his stubbornness holds him back. 

Now I'm no watchdog or bodyguard for anyone. I rarely bash anyone(unless there's a real HACK lurking around that annoys me), and I'm certainly not one to run around and defend people, but I see a lot of ignorant hate to guys like them.....if they suck so bad, please enlighten me on who is so GREAT on this site....because I can think of maybe half a dozen people who have been around long term that really bring insight and consistency to the people.

Hey LC...FWIW since 2005, away favorites that are playing their third straight road game are 11-4 ATS (8-1 ATS against teams with a winning percentage of 47% or less).  

When those same teams have a divisional game the next week, they are 6-0 ATS  

Away favorites that just came off an away game and have their next two games against divisional opponents are 21-8 ATS.

As a long time Giants fan, its pretty much standard procedure that the Giants play down to their competition, and not to mention the most important statistic of all, the giants have turned it over in 27 straight games, yes, you heard that right, TWENTY SEVEN.

 

As for the saints, I really cant agree with the "this is a good spot for them" angle, because at the end of the day, the saints on the road are never in a "good spot"  and yes that sounds too simple, but with the saints, I feel like it can be that simple.  Weather isn't gonna be nice I am sure...Its gonna be Pitt weather.

 

Really like the bucs angle though, and I do put a decent amount of weight on the 3 straight road games...that seems to work out more then not.
