Tonight's ref. calling this game is almost as bad as when Hawks played Pitts in the SB. This time it went Seattle's way.
If you look at the point of contact where the ball touches a human hand it is Jennings' hands that actually CATCH the ball. Tate gets his hand in and touches the ball but he is not actually "catching" it. Again, look at he POINT OF CONTACT and tell me Tate is catching it. ZOOM IN, SLOW IT DOWN and look at the point of contact.
It was not simultaneous possession. Got to be kidding me.
Possession is not touching it first. The point of contact is not as important as who has possessin when possession is obtained.
Touching it first doesnt mean you possess it first - by yourself.

EXACTLY he caought it at the HIGHEST POINT and maintaiend it securely all the way to the ground
Was there any time when Jennings had possession and Tate didnt?

I think the most important thing that the majority seem to be missing here is that even though Jennings had MORE of the possession, Tate had SOME of the possession.
Read that again.
Im not trying to make a case that this was "fair" or "just". Im just saying that by the rule, the way I understand it - if Tate had some of the possession, he gets the call.

and if you look at the point when Tate's feet hit the ground on the way down his hand loses touch with the ball. Landing on teh ground jolts his whole body and he adjust his gripm which wasnt even a grip to begin with really. His hand slips off the ball at that point in time.
IF this is true, then I concede.
But I havent seen this to be true, and I challenge you to prove it is. I see Tates hand on the ball the WHOLE TIME.
