For people to say that San Diego is overrated is a farce.  How?  Most media types suggest

This Pittsburgh QB is overrated.  In fact, I am not sure if there’s a more overrated player in sports (not just the NFL) than this guy.  The dude is not even the best QB on his team.  He’s a backup QB, at best, in the NFL.

I don't like the Steelers,but Byron is better than Ben?There is a reason Jacksonville gave up on him...He is has  0 mobility,stays on receivers too long.Tough guy remembered him from his days at Marshall...The Ravens actually wanted him on draft day when he came out..Local guy,DC,but better than Ben,no way dude.

You are crazy for not grabbing the SD ML early yesterday and just before gametime. On Saturday, I saw the 25th ranked D totally shut down the Indy run game and they'll do the same to Pitt. Indy quite possibly scored only 10 points last weekend if for one lapse of focus. Thats solid D. I expect to see more SD sacks this weekend. Pitts D is solid but I really think their offense struggles. As I said in previous posts, NE didn't make the playoffs (SD nemesis) and if NE didn't beat the Chargers the last 2 post seasons, we would be discussing a possible 3-peet.

Ben is listed as Probable.  By definition, this means he has a 75-95 percent chance of starting.  So, be definition, you are WRONG!  Thanks for the information though.

Okey Dokey!  You're entitled to your opinion.  I'm not quite sure what it means that the Ravens were interested in him in draft.  So what?  Actually, you are DEAD WRONG!  They were split on Leftwich and Boller.  They almost made a trade to move up and trade for Leftwich (Vikings skipping the pick disaster) and some in the organization (Newsome being one) backed off.  They took Suggs and later in the 1st round traded for a pick to take Boller.  Please, if you are going to take me on with football, know your facts.  OR, you will get trounced!

By the way, Leftwich's QB career rating is about the same as Big Ben's this year.  Your statement confuses me!

If you look closely at the first game, the Steelers dominated in just about every category.  They ended up with 410 yards of offense and only gave up 218.  The Chargers only TD was off of a missed fg to set them up almost at midfield.  To make matters worse, a 24yd phantom pass interference penalty in the endzone was called giving S.D. first and goal.  Pittsburgh was penalized a whopping  13 times for 115 yards while S.D. was only flagged for 2 for a total of 5 yards...This is what made the game closer than what it really was...Rivers was harrassed all game, their running game was non-existent, and the whole S.D. team just looked uncomfortable playing in Pittsburgh.
 
Now I ask you, with the SB on the line, knowing the outcome of the first game and all of the variables, what's more likely to happen??  To say this Pittsburgh team is overrated is hogwash.  They have one of the best defenses in decades the NFL has seen, and they went through one hell of a schedule.  To come out 12-4 says a lot about this team.  I don't know how you can say anything negative unless you are a hater and you appear to be one..Then the comments about Big Ben.  He is one of the better QB's in the league today.  He is a proven winner, something Rivers lacks. 
 
I give credit to S.D. for winning their last five games and earning a spot in this AFC playoff game.  But this team is 9-8 for a reason.  They have just about the worse pass defense and total defense in the league.  They were two plays away from being swept from K.C, they were 3-5 on the road this year.  They played 5 playoff teams losing to all 5 of them.  Defense wins championships and 6 points is not a hell of a lot considering the circumstances.  I look for an injury riddled S.D. team to limp out of Pittsburgh losing 28-10..

Different Charger team...any argument about record, etc, needs to be adjusted for how they are CURRENTLY playing (see "higher level")...

you post a big time negative comment about a SB champion who led his team there. then you call me a child ? im a homer your a homer...its fine with me. just dont kid yourself into believing your fantasy game outcome. they got beaten the first time...wasnt close. look at the #'s yourself and stop listening to media outlets for inside info. its not there...

listed as probable should be printed on the side of his mailbox at home. thats all you guys know about him. oh and the negative highlights the media likes to run over and over... so you mr west coast can see it and think there is a weakness...thus making you believe you have a chance. its media all the way......you eat it up with a knife and fork. not the real story.....

Dude, the RAVENS backed off.  The fact you DON'T know that tells me all that I need to know.  The Ravens came out and said that they backed off.

Yeah its only stupid if you can't understand that SD has beaten everybody they faced in the playoffs the last 2 years except NE.

And now SD is streaking, 5-0, at the right time. So how much playoff experience does that add up to? They're not Atlanta, Miami, Tennessee, Minnesota. Are you following this - its called experience or in other words how will a player/team perform under intense pressure. There is a reason 3 of the 4 teams I listed are gone from the playoffs and its a matter of time before Tennessee is gone too.

im not sure how those #'s make you feel confident...but im done tearing up your thread. i am curious how that makes you confident in regards to the chargers winning... GL.

Ben is the most winning QB in his first 5 seasons EVER, even with all the injuries.  Youngest SUper Bowl QB ever.  If thats over rated than Ill take it, while you guys can just sit there and beat over and over again by this "over rated" QB.

Unless a Raven fan tells me that i am wrong,i don't remember that going quite that way,The Vikes were supposed to take him but the clock expired on them,jacksonville then picked him.Stuckey or Cylax need to validate who is right.....
