if you took this approach in Wilson's ten other games against "lighter skinned" Super Bowl winning quarterbacks you would be 0-10 straight up which if my math does not escape me here is a whopping 0% success rate.....GL with that.
Yes. The main reason I did not have Seattle in SB after week 9 was the Cardinals were running away with the division at 8-1 and Hawks were 5-3 I believe. If Palmer stays healthy Seattle would not have had homefield and the way they were strouggling thru week 9 I just didn't see them repeating. I will admit that I gave up on them for a span of like 2 weeks around week 9 but after that game on Thanksgiving I saw the spark again. Still very frustrated at myself.
Still sifting through the prop bets but the only ones I am on right now are. Interested to see what you are on. I don't have too much problem laying -115 on a prop but very, very hesitant to lay -125 for obvious reason.
-Blount under 62.5 yards
-Wilson under 42.5 rushing yards
-Brady under 260.5 (even) and under 1.5 TD (+145)
Other than my Dolphins thread I hardly post my thoughts at all besides your thread and sometimes trains. Sometimes I'll open a stupid thread and give sarcastic comment but for the most part I like sticking to these threads because there is less nonsense. Its about winning money and bouncing actual thoughts not about proving how good you are at betting. I can easily tell the covers members whose main interest is winning money.
I will send you a PM when I get the MM info. The format of almost all of his pools is you pay when the season starts (from 10$-60$ depending on pool) and then he sends out weekly winners (and updates) and end of year winners. The MM one does not have weekly winners for obvious reasons. Been doing them about 5 years and never had a complaint. I'm always surprised at all the work he puts in.

As this game gets closer. I am getting a feeling of calm and confidence very similar to before last years superbowl. The more experts and people I see on NE, the better I feel.
After some deep discussion about the game tonight with some pretty knowledgeable people. We just kind of came to the conclusion of a Seahawks blowout. I just don't see what thje Patriots are going to do on offense. Lafell and Amendola will be a non-factor leaving Gronk and Edleman. I just don't see them being any match for the physicality the Hawks will bring. Much like D Thomas, Decker and Welker were not ready for it last year.
Barring 3+ turnovers I don't see how the Hawks don't will this game easily. Maybe as far as to say, laughably. I can't see any logical reason to back the Pats other than they played well against the Colts. I said it before last years SB and will say it again. I just don't get how more people don't see how good the Seahawks secondary really is. I know they are respected, but don't understand how they are not already talked about as maybe the best ever.
Peoples biggest knock on the Hawks seems to be 'they haven't played anyone in the last 8 weeks. Well they played the teams on their schedule and did the only thing they can do...Dominate..They outscored teams 134-39..They cannot help who they play. Its not like they beat up on NFL's worst teams. They played SF twice, Ari twice and Eagles...Another knock is 'the Panthers almost beat them.' Anyone saying that is grasping at straws and has a vendetta vs Seattle. They dominated that game. The panthers only 2 TDs came on a 14 play, 80 yard drive which they needed to convert four 3rd downs (that's called earning it), and a prevent defense drive with Hawks up 31-10 with 5 minutes left.
I will admit the Panthers did have more success than I thought they would, but its obvious that the only way to have success vs Seattle D is with a running QB. They held Brees to 15 points (ZERO points for the first 3 and a half quarters) Manning to 8 points, and Rodgers to 22 points (Packers didn't have a scoring drive over 56 yards. 3 of their 4 FG drives, the Packers gained less than 22 yards)...The only QBS to have success were Kap and Newton (both held to 17 points) and Kap needed to break off some crazy runs and his TD pass was a lucky heave off 1 foot that was 1 inch from an INT...Absolutely nothing in those numbers suggest Brady will do anything..at all....People are judging so much off of last week its ridiculous. That was Wilsons only bad game in SEVEN playoff game, and it was in bad weather condition. Chances he has back to back bad games are SLIM.
And the kicker might even be. If the Pats do somehow make some plays and get some breaks. Wilson has lead playoff comebacks of 14-0. 27-7 (even tho they lost 30-28), 17-10 and 22-7...Yeah, sign me up to bet against that guy...I won't be surprised if the Hawks win. I will be surprised if they don't win by 14 or more. I really feel like this game will be similar to last year. Most likely over by the 3rd quarter. Not great for rating, but great for Hawks backers.
