Great week last week Suuma...love the Rams as well this week, Browns off that emotional loss to Denver and now hitting the road against a hungry team coming off the bye that feels they should be better than their record shows (and i think they are).
This Rams defense is legit...they held Aaron Rodgers and company to 17 pts at Lambeau (7 pts were from a pick 6). Those 5 turnovers on the Rams part has to have left a bad taste in their mouths over the bye and I look for them to be focused on offense and take better care of the ball. Plus think they'll be able to run Gurley down Cleveland's throats all day. I like it even at -6, which it is up to at my book.
Good Luck this week.

I agree with your play on the Jets. As a jet fan I just have to disagree on one comment you made.( Jets) "have a good passing game".
They do not have a good passing team relative to the rest of the league Fitz is rated near the bottom in QB Rating. That is the teams weakness and is the only thing at this point holding them back from being a title contender.
In my opinion the jets have a weak passing offense.
Anyway just venting. I enjoy reading your weekly write-ups.
Good Luck
Hey buddy, thanks for your comment. It seems like we have a different opinion about what is a good passing offense. The QBR only tells you the story of cold QB numbers and the formula has two components on TD & INT. So his 9-7 TD-INT ratio deflates his QBR, especially when four interceptions haven't been his fault.
Passing offense starts at the offensive line and ends with the grab by the receiver. Over that chain, the Jets are doing an incredible job. Just take a look at their pass efficiency stats along with the ranking:

I think Jets will cover. I am not sure about Seattle covering -6.5 as they have not shown they can cover. Also it is said sharps will go on SF if the line goes to +7.

I like Jets to cover 10 pts, Suuma. This Jets team is for real, and they always played the Pats tough. I would rather parlay Seahawks ML tonight with Packers ML on Sunday night at +112. Good luck!
Good luck, Europa!

Finally on the track. We always have to question/challenge the status quo. I noticed that I am losing my bets by 7.6 PPG. I have lost 7 of the 15 games by six or less points, 3 by one point. So I decided to add 6pt-teasers to my weekly card instead of only straight picks.
Locked in: 6-pt-teaser Seattle Seahawks pk & New York Jets +15.5 -110 St. Louis Rams -4.5 -109
I
like the Seahawks to win and cover but they really shouldn't be -6 or
-7 favorites by now. Monitoring injuries for the rest of the card.
Hey suuma thx for the last week! Do you think seahawks cant cover -6.5? BOL today!

Good point that makes a lot of sense. I hope they can keep it up. Fitz seems to be doing a nice job on the short and medium balls. I did not look at the stats but they seem to be doing a nice job getting into the endzone rather than always settling for 3.
