Wednesday afternoon. Lines will be coming out soon. Should be a fun week! Definitely some interesting games on the board. You guys see anything out there you absolutely love/hate? Also, this TNF game this week appears to be just as tough as last week's capping wise...but it's still not off my card necessarily.
Cheers

@ad1260 The toughest part is to guesstimate which teams will have a reversal of performance from week 1 and which teams are legitimate. I am still waiting on the Westgate card, just in case I have to end up taking a side in the Ravens Bengals game. I am just practicing, so I am in whatever mode. If I actually entered the contest, I would be freaking out each week. I just wrote down my intial card based on the Covers odd page. I am now curious about the Texans Titans. The Covers odd page has it off the board and my online sportsbook also does not list that game. Starting with the Ravens Bengals, I was planning on skipping this game, even with a lean on the Ravens. So me not know ... Over the past few years I have had specific trouble being on the spot with the Steelers. For the moment, I have a lean on the Texans. The Titans did not play well and have been hit with the injury bug. Also the Texans have a higher potential. The Vikings Packers is a toughie. I like to tail the Vikings, but Rogers at home makes me pause. I am taking the Eagles over the Bucs. I think this will be a least a 10 point victory by the Eagles. The Panthers Falcons is a playin for respect divisional game. I think the Redskins will win by a touchdown over the Colts. I have no idea about the Dolphins Jets game. Btw I am on a basic fade of the Dolphins at the moment, but the Jets have a rookie quarterback who is going to look okay and really really bad at times. I like the Niners and Jimmy G to strut their stuff over the Lions. The Pats Jags makes me pause ... Basically it is a pickem game. I have a lean on the Broncos. Giants Cowboys dunno ... In the Seahawks Bears game, I am fading the Seahawks. And if Mack makes a contribution for the Bears, then I think they will win.

But then again, maybe this line isn't THAT crazy? GB struggled mightily with the Bears and Minny handily beat Jimmy G and company...
Haha this line is tripping me out. I have a decent lean in the Thursday night game at this point actually but hesitant to play it. Because I want to give myself some more time and see if Rodgers is a go or not. If he is, Rodgers at home getting 7 points would be a gift. But then again, everyone in the contest would be on them thus negating the value of that particular W. Kinda goes back to the game theory side of things that Vanzack and I had discussed in a different thread.
Gonna sleep on it but I have 3 plays I'm liking pretty strongly. Let's see if anything develops overnight.

Packers listed at +7...they clearly believe Rodgers will be a no go this week. Interesting...
I saw the Packers open -2.5 on Sept 9th around 7:30 pm eastern. This line posted before the Bears/Packers game even began. About 15 to 20 minutes later it moved to -1.5, shortly there after they took the game down as the Bears game started.
Rogers is easily worth 5.5 to 7 points.
First move was on Minny fwiw, with all hands assuming Rogers were never to have gotten hurt.
I absolutely would love to have Minny +2.5 and Green Bay +7 right now.
One scary thought in this game though...Desean Kiser, under the lights at Lambeau in primetime vs the purple people eaters...
