Okay Double, I agree, it sounds good, on paper! But, you're making excuses of why they lost last year.
Barring injury, Buffalo should win the East and Kansas City wins the West! As you say, the Bills may have an easy schedule. BUT Kansas City plays in a weaker division this year. Last year KC controlled Buffalo on a Monday night, in Buffalo!
In the playoffs, the Chiefs had Buffalo down 31-12 beginning the 4th quarter, even after KC fumbled the kick-off and gave the Bills a quick 7 point lead!
I'd like to see Buffalo win a Super bowl! But I ask myself, can Buffalo beat Kansas City at Arrowhead ? hmmm highly unlikely!
Thanks for your posts Double, very informative.

NFC: Rams over Packers (the young QB savant coach narrative will be off the charts from the media)
AFC: Bills over Chiefs
Super Bowl: Rams over Bills
Love the boldness with the WFT and it pains me to leave the stacked Browns roster out but high on both of those squads with you. Never been a fan of McVay, think the wonder boy narrative is over blown but credit for them being able to sustain highly touted and paid personnel and think Stafford is nails this year.

WFT has a great d but according to the odds they have no chance, other than winning the NFC Least. William Hill Chiefs +500 Buccaneers +650 Bills +1300 Ravens +1400 Rams +1400 49ers +1400 Packers +1600 Browns +1800 Colts +2200 Broncos +2500 Seahawks +2500 Saints +2500 Cowboys +2800 Dolphins +3000 Titans +3000 Patriots +3000 Chargers +3500 Steelers +4000 Cardinals +4000 Vikings +4000 Falcons +5000 Bears +5000 Washington Football Team +5000 Panthers +6000 Raiders +7000 Giants +7500 Eagles +7500 Bengals +10000 Jaguars +10000 Jets +10000 Lions +15000 Texans +20000
If WFT is +5000, I think the Cowboys should be at least +7500 ...
Not much would shock me in the NFL ...Wouldn't be a surprise if any team won their division except the Jets , Jags, Texans , and Lions ...

The Chiefs were night and day better than the BILLS last year head to head...The BILLS D line got man handled on MNF ..In the playoffs the BILLS had zero pass rush and Mahomes could have thrown for 600 yards ..lol ...You hit nail on the head...Home field might be the key in the AFC ...Then again the BILLS pass happy offense is not suited for WNY weather in January ...Thorpe and I joked that our dictator govenor should have sent the BILLS to Miami for home playoff games last season
The Browns however could have beat the Chiefs in the playoffs, that BS non call on the helmet to helmet at the goal line possibly changed the outcome...Who knows ??
I'm not a trends guy , but Super Bowl losers usually disappoint the following season ...The AFC should be deeper this year with quality teams ..Looking for these teams to improve ( Dolphins, Bengals , Browns , Colts , Chargers , Broncos ) ...I dont have the Stones to bet on the Chargers to win the Division, but they stand a punchers chance without that choking HC , and an improved o Line ..
Really appreciate your time
Please if you have a way too early super Bowl prediction I'd love to see it!!!

The Rams are definitely a sexy pick this season...Watching Goff was painful down the stretch last season ...Stafford seems like the perfect fit with a supposed GURU QB coach ...Not Sure a cyborg Brady/ Montana could win in Detroit...
My main concerns with the Rams are the tough division , Stafford arguably hasnt played in a meaningful game since college , and their secondary appears to have some gaping holes to fill with the recent departures.....All that being said the RAMS could win Home field and cruise into the Bowl ...
My Father keeps warning me that if the BILLS make it to the super bowl , WIN or LOSE the insane MAFIA fanatics here will burn the city and surrounding burbs down...
The AFC is going to be tough ..Lots of parity ..Could see everyone but the Jets, Jags and Texans being in the hunt for the playoffs with 5 games to go....
Appreciate your time brother ..
Crazy that kickoff is leas than 50 days away

And when i say this people go nuts. Which proves my point they are overrated now. These athletic guys get 3 or 4 years then they start to decline. Just like most running backs.

The opening odds on the Broncos to win the Super Bowl was +6600 so I laid some green on them then. I thought it was a good price. Today at my book they are +2000. No other team has even come close to swinging the odds that much. Just sayin'

Steve DeBerg was the Chiefs starter and played most of the first half. He got injured and Vlasic replaced him. It was already 17-0 at that point.

I was there Brother and remember it well ..
Deberg was atrocious, something like 5-10 for 24 yards passing ...Vlasic relieved him and threw 4 picks ..
Sorry Brother ..I should have been clearer

I was there Brother and remember it well .( although I cant remember what I ate for breakfast) . Should have mentioned Deberg starting ...
That was one of the loudest crowds I've ever heard at Rich Stadium ...Barry Word and Harvey William's and a few players from the secondary were taunting BILLS fans during warmups ...The were doing their best Hulk Hogan impressions in the tunnel endzone ...Flexing and then putting the hands to their ears , acting like the crowd wasnt loud ....

Only major disagreement I have is with the Steelers. I get it, the offensive line has a lot of holes to fill but there defens should be top three again this year.
Wide receivers are top five unit with Claypool, Diontee Johnson, Washington and of course Smith -Schuster.
Im basing a lot of this on a healthy Rothlisberger obviously.
Steelers o/u now at 8.5. Like thee over.

Spot on with the Cowboys D-up
Have the Raiders with a couple more wins.

And how is old, slow, injury prone Big Ben going to perform behind this horrendous O-line? I can hardly point out 6 'definately' wins.

Thats a great job getting value...
Are you betting them to make the playoffs or over their season win total...
I think Lock could have a decent season and the Broncos could be loaded with Value ATS. ( Starting week 1 at NY , Although I'm on the over there)

Raiders should be competitive, worried about that o line though ..
Nothing would shock me in the wild card spots other than ( Lions , Jets , Texans , Jags ) ...
Steelers should be contenders for a playoff spot over the last month of the season , maybe they get there, but I dont give them much of a chance to win the division...
The OVER bet makes sense if you think that O Line and defense plays well over expectations..9 + wins if possible..
Best of luck Brother ..

Not picking chiefs or ravens. Mahomes is on his way down and so is lamar And when i say this people go nuts. Which proves my point they are overrated now. These athletic guys get 3 or 4 years then they start to decline. Just like most running backs.
So if you have to pick 3 teams to win the AFC ? Who ya got ?
