This drop on the total is 100% about the wind. Its blowing like a mother up here and will be much worse by gametime, especially at soldier field which is right on lake michigan. Its windy there even when it isnt windy other places so today could be bad.
As far as weather affecting totals, contrary to popular belief, rain or snow actually can benefit the offenses but wind definately benefits the defenses.
Also, devin hester cant even count to 4, let alone be accountable for that many points drop on the total!!
Those were facts but heres an opinion, this wind will benefit the bears in a big way. Chicagos bread n butter has always been running the ball and defense which will have to be the gameplan today for both teams. The only problem for detroit is that they have no running game even when they do have jahvid best.
i'll be playing the bears minus the pts today
