Lots to talk about before game 4 which obviously is a must win for Toronto.
Nylander expected back in the lineup tonight on the 3rd line with Holmberg and Jarnkrok. Migranes being the reason why Willie missed the first 3 games???? I thought he might have been scared of the big bad Bruins lol being the reason he was out? He hates any sort of body contact even at his size, get ready for it tonight every time he touches the puck.
There is talk of Brodie returning to take Liljegren's spot or possibly Lyubushkin who was away from the team with the birth of his child, he is expected back for tonight's game though.
It sure looks like the Bruins will continue with their goaltending rotation so it's Ullmark's turn tonight. He is solid but man Swayman has owned the Leaf's this year. Boston looks to be staying with the same lineup as game 3, anyone ever seen JVR with 2 breakaways in the same game?
The Leaf's will need two things okay maybe three to happen tonight to win the game. #1 Samsonov who has played well for the most part needs to steal a game and not let any bad goals past him. #2 Toronto needs to score on the PP when they get the chance. #3 probably the most important is just leave Marchand alone. They should realize after what 12 seasons they aren't going to win any of these slashing, hooking, elbowing sessions that he loves to be in. Just hit the little rat any chance you get and skate away, easier said than done when he gives you a stick as your skating away.
I do like Toronto to win this game tonight (somehow) because I think both teams are so evenly matched and it should be a long series. Just not sure how much to throw down at this point? OT is another play I might consider?
I would love to hear more opinions on this game or please add something that I might have missed?
Good Luck Today!

Wouldn't spend my money on Loafs anymore. I don't follow them very closely, but it just seems like they are missing something. Like when you forget to put oregano in your spaghetti sauce. Its not bad, and you can still have a nice meal, but if you're at a 5 Star Italian Restaurant, you don't want it missing something. SCP's are a 5 Star Restaurant.
One would think bringing in Domi and Bertuzzi give them more grit, so maybe that is it, but they're still down 2-1, and feels like something still is missing. I agree with you on Sam needing to steal one - maybe tonight with Linus opposite. Be very interested to see what B's do if they lose tonight and we get to Game 6...
If they have any chance advancing they need to win here, so I do expect a energetic 1P, esp. 1st 10 min. Might be some prop action to consider.
Nylander being out hasn't helped, but I can attest that migraine headaches are not fun. Any bright light is hard to keep your eyes open, and it really is a legit safety concern trying to skate, barely being able to see/focus with 200 pound humans traveling at 30 MPH looking to knock you into next week.
Good luck today bud - hope they do win, as I do not like Boston very much

Hey Vaas at this point just going with what the coach said during his interview yesterday about sticking with the plan which is rotating goalies every game.

Yes no doubt and with the extra day of rest Swayman to me should be a no-brainer. No wager for me until I have 100% confirmation. I will still be on the Leaf's regardless of who starts for Boston.

Huntman...wish your boys luck tonight. No dog in this fight and no money on it. Want them to drag this out 7 so Florida can kick the ass of the winner Enjoy the game.
Thanks Doc. I didn't know you were a Panther's fan?

Pens first then the Panthers have worn on me over the years. Le Rink Rat pointed them out to me years ago and well, since I live in the South might as well do as the Romans do while in Rome.
Actually really like their game.
Go Leafs Go.

Yep it's now or never for them tonight. I have been to a few of those playoff games and they all usually come down to a play or two that makes the difference.

This franchise is a disgrace....they havent been to a final since there was more than 6 teams...all their success was in the early 1900s with 4 and 6 teams in a league. Grow up!
