Only caught the last couple of ends, but I understand Allison made a poor choice in the eighth end, opting to draw around a rock in the house, instead of hitting to lay three. Don't understand that.

That was a great last couple of ends, was hoping to get the -1.5 but still happy.
I think the Korea/Canada game will be a dandy...and lots of rocks in play

I like the over quite abit. Korea is a pretty aggressive team and hopefully Heather decides to match up with the rocks in play. Last time they played it was 4-4 after five and ended up being one of the dreaded 7-5 Games. For sure Heather could win, but Korea has played well so with hammer and +175, I like the value.
If Heather beats Korea, I will for sure play her against the Swiss.
In the last five playoff years, it would be 13-6 to the over in the 3/4, semi, bronze medal, and gold medal games, although the 3/4 game is 2-3. The semi is 5-0.
Looking for two good games today.

Well so much for that over. Korea playing incredibly defensive, but has them in a good position at the moment.
9.5 is total at midway break, -200 to the under, +150 to the over.

Boy did they make some great shots in ten, including the one to win.
I see no reason not to stick with her tonight. On Korea and since they dropped the line to 11.5 on the over. I am a glutton for punishment sometimes, but I do like it.

Nice win on the over last night and Korea certainly had their chances. I am happy for the Swiss though, for a pretty stoic demeanor, it was nice to see Ott celebrate her win with pure jubiliation. Staring at her third with those eyes is never a bad thing either.
For the Bronze Medal game, I will always play the over and see no difference this morning, especially getting it at 12. 19/15/13/16 are your previous four bronze medal game totals. There is just no way Nedohin, who was less than complimentary on the Korean counterparts after their loss to them, gets sucked into the defensive game again.
Normally, I love to play the Dog in this game, but I think you see a "Balls to the Wall " (yes, ironic in women's curling) approach by Heather here and perhaps Korea, with the extra game under her belt comes out a little tired and makes a few mistakes. Can't play it at -166, but will play it at -1.5 +125.
For the Gold Medal game, not sure which way I am going on this. Had Sweden -1.5 and the under, which cost me both in a 7-6 victory they had over the Swiss, in the 1-2 game. Ott has never beaten her and I do think Sweden has been the best team here this week, so tough to go against them. Having said that Sweden also was the best team in the European Championships and then was waxed in the final, by Scotland.
They keep saying that Ott is a better hitter, but I thought she had great draw weight yesterday.
No lean on the total at the moment.

I was so pumped, when Korea missed their last one to get the spread win also. Feel fortunate, but I will take it.
I agree with you tonight, I think this is a one point game and might play the same thing. I am hoping there is live betting, as I could see there being a couple of conservative opening ends, and then things opening up a little, which I can grab a lower total on.

That was a hell of a shot to win it Ang. I figured for sure, she would be tight to get her one and then Sweden would pull it out in an extra end. Quite the finish to the game. The best two teams this week for sure.
Men's worlds this Saturday, it appears Can,Swe, Scot and Norway should be the class of the field. I might look to put some money on one of the Euro teams, since it is on their home soil. I don't trust the European ice to be as good as Canada's which might level the playing field a little. Howard was beaming about the Swiss team, so that is one more to keep an eye on.
