4) Never let a Dead Hooker Drive unless you want to use the Car-pool Lane.
Cowboys -5 at Green Bay. This has to be at least a 10 point swing from what the week 1 lookahead would have been. And that's despite the Cowboys having more impactful injuries to date. Packers still have a good defense and running game. The under the total looks good.
Prop bet for tonite : Tyler Allgeier (ATL) Over 31 yards rushing

Was listening to some podcast talk with Brent Musberger.
They were talking about the rise of coordinators, and maybe they are more of a contributer to success of the team than the HC, in some instances.
2 prime examples they referred to were Luke Getsy, former GB OC, now Chicago's OC. And Eberflus, former Colts DC.
Look at the state of the Packers and Colts.
I questioned earlier in the thread; "how good was Frank Reich?"
It's week 10 and he's fired. His former OC Nick Sirianni is undefeated with Philly, and Eberflus is doing no wrong "coaching" during a rebuild.
A lot of this is hard to see until it happens. All though it brings me to the Colts and Raiders game. How does the Colts game go anything better than a trainwreck this Sunday?
Do we pay to see it?

In his short career Steelers 1st round draft pick Najee Harris has taken 415 handoffs. Only 4 have have resulted in a gain of at least 20 yards. Trent Richardson 2.0.

I agree that any decent RB can play behind a good offensive line but there's always a few RBs that can overcome bad blocking and still succeed. Harris isn't one of them. A horrible pick by a team which is usually sharp in the draft.

Michael Pittman has 10 rec for 75 yards since QB change in Indy. Also Sam E. been sacked 11 times.
One thing (amongst many) the Raiders can do a really bad job at is getting after the QB. Take away Maxx Crosby's 6 and the team has 3 total. The ghost of Chandler Jones doesn't help much on the other side.
The Raiders may just be the perfect slightly soft, non focused, coach in the midst of losing the locker room, can't get a pass rush type of team that a rally job by Jeff Saturday actually works on.
At this point I am lucky I got that line early at Raiders -3.5, because I haven't trusted my team this little since the Jamarcus Russell days. Waller just went on IR. Derek Carr, who is the epitome of a "company man", almost blurted out shit about the coach that he shouldn't be saying to the media, and they just cannot be trusted.
The only reason I have a bet on this game is because I bet every side of every NFL game every week just as part of this hobby. Otherwise this would be a hard pass.

@JDD
The only reason Reich got hired is because McDaniel left the Colts at the altar. Irsay may have a motivational speech (likely slurred after a few too many bourbons) to the team about his contempt for Josh. The Colts are not a finesse team and that may play into their favor for this game.

Yeah on a radio station I frequent they were playing Irsays entire recent debacle of a public speaking display today.....It is amazing when a man is so high or drunk that he has himself convinced that he is smarter than he really is. So all the bullshit just flows....lol....makes minimal sense.....just flows.....
in his head he is being slick and giving you dots to connect......
He is the perfect example of the fact that not all rich people are smarter than you. Some of them.....lots of them...... just got really lucky

Riddle me this. The 49ers are -7 @ LAC this week.
Next week they are -5.5 in Mexico City vs the Cardinals.
Cmon.
So I know both wr's looking to be out for the Bolts. But this line is kind of saying that the Niners will have more of a home field in LA...
Are both lines right? I say probably not. Which one holds more value?

@undermysac
You know damn well the LA stadium is a home game for the 49ers. Such a shame for the Chargers, they belong in San Diego.
Meanwhile the elevation in Mexico City is actually higher than Denver. Phoenix is above 1000 feet while Frisco is basically at sea level. Cardinals may be better acclimated?

If we are getting that deep, I read that the Seahawks flew over the north pole on their trip to Germany, and making it a shorter trip than Tampa had.
