I'm probably out of line here, but Seattle "losing" to Arizona this week might benefit them down the stretch. Who knows how things play out but I'm sure they would rather not have to deal with San Francisco again. Maybe they don't go all out at least.
hmmm...

i watched all of that seattle/arizona game. i may have had a different take than most but after watching that, i just don't see how seattle loses in the playoffs at home. first, AZ is a good team. they are very good on defense and played about as good a defensive game as a team can play. plus, AZ had a great gameplan. palmer played like a rookie much of the game, before he made that clutch td throw, but AZ definitely brought their A game and seattle still easily could have won. 1. i'm not sure anyone plays seattle that well in the playoffs and 2. seattle's intensity and crowd in the playoffs will be much greater so even if a team can put together their best game, seattle should be ready to handle it.

one other thought. we all saw what philly did to chicago last night. and dallas continues to struggle. why did vegas open the spread at dallas -2.5 knowing everyone and their mother will jump on philly at that line?

i know but you have to figure philly will be ready to play this one as opposed to a road game in minnesota. and how does dallas's defense come close to stopping philly. i'm not saying i'd bet philly here but it seems odd that dallas started at 2.5 knowing how people would hammer philly.

Ravens had nothing left in their tank yesterday, just like the Lions,Flacco never to be confused with being Fran Tarkenton, was immobile on one leg..When he missed a wide open Torrey Smith early knew we were in trouble...Sadly we no longer control our own destiny...and Goodell moving the Pats game to 430pm did us no favors either...We need the Phins or Chargers to lose, and find a way to beat the Bungles...
