I'm actually surprised they still have these celebrations given how unruly past celebrations have been...is it really worth it...in theory, a life would have been saved had you not had this parade....not worth it to me and yes one bad apple is spoiling the bunch in this case...stay home and play with your trophy or trophy wife whatever floats your boat...

I had to work today so did not stay home and watch the parade. Several friends were there. I live downtown in a high rise and there are shots pretty much every weekend in the summer. Our building’s windows have been shot out. The KC Star building(new kc stadium venue) always has windows shot out. Low IQ activities. There is a club at the corner that attracts less than desirables and that god that is going away. The owner was shot last summer after hours.

I haven't looked too much into who the shooter(s) was and I'm sure there isn't much info out yet, but do you think they are law abiding citizens, or previous criminals that have a past record that's longer than a CVS receipt? It's always the small bad apples that ruin all the good things we have in this country. I wouldn't be surprised to see the shoorter(s) have been released with no bail not too long ago or have a past history with gun violence. I'd take it a step further and say they've never spent time locked up for their crimes either because they told the judge they'll be upstanding citizens if they're let go. Actually, if they were released with no bail, we're probably never going to hear about it and everything will get swept under the rug, because putting people in jail is bad for society and their community.

I think one of them is a teenager not old enough to have the long criminal record you describe. Looks like you are way off, trying to push a narrative based on assumptions as usual. Remember guns don't kill people, people do. Thoughts and prayers. Carry on, business as usual.

The thing is it's not always "a previous criminal that has a past record that's longer then a CVS receipt".Since we're in the NFL forum and the SuperBowl just happened in Vegas.Lets think if they had any recent shootings in Vegas that were done by a person who didn't have "a past record that's longer then a CVS receipt".Oh yeah,that guy who shot all those people out of the Mandalay Bay windows,was his record as long as a CVS receipt?

No but he lost a fuck ton of money gambling and that is why he did it. Mandalay Bay settled with the victims.

they have one video out of a suspect in handcuffs on the ground and it looks like it is a young black male, maybe low 20's in age, but he had a hood on his head so who knows....
The CVS receipt comment was funny given that I visit CVS and I always get a 3 foot long receipt which I never understood.....it's like a damn tail waiving in the wind every time I leave...

Cashless bail!!! What a great idea !! Again most shootings in democratic run cities with strict gun laws. More good guys with guns prevent crime . Lived in suburb of Atlanta for years. Only place schools and movie theaters . Well the lunatics that go on rampage know this therefore go to these places to mass murder. The thought process of " taking guns away" is so ass backwards . Criminals will always have firearms. Look at my city NYC . How do all these young migrants have firearms yet homeless smfh system is so funked up. Ughhh sick of this nonsense pushed by the gun blamers over the criminals. Again all democratic run cities and I've always been registered voting dem till the previous administration exposed em all .
